Yes...if there isn't much point in them having a life or if they are in so much pain, then yes, i see no problem with it. I don't think you should go to jail if they agree to you doing it. If i was in that position i'd want someone to do it for me.

well it's a tough question

but I know, if I ever were in such situation of me so ill never to recover and with the need of machines all the time and that stuff, I would rather have a dignified death than vegetate and rot alive, waiting to die already - then I would wanna decide for myself when to end it, cause it's maybe the last thing left
so I would assist in the right and determined circumstances, if I had to

and I guess if it is the explicit wish of the person comitting suicide, you should not end up in jail
but everyone should be assured, it is really a permanent wish and not just a phase

well depends on where they r.
if they r in the hospital and they can't move for the rest of their live then yes u can "pull the plug"

but if they r at home dieing cause they r so sick then no i can't kill someone like that.

Well Nollie, you're forgetting one very simple thing.
I believe in God, you don't.
So yes, I will bear the pain and suffering of a lifetime before damning myself by means of suicide.

Uhh.. Kill them? I don't know.. But I'm all for euthanasia.

Seriously, I've been to ICU many times and seen people without any chance of surviving, with their bowels outside their stomach and it made me think of all the pain they have to go through, because sometimes the anaelgetics don't work anymore and seriously, what is the point of keeping them alive, unable to breathe on their own, let alone be conscious and talking.

Although.. My mum once said, that if I became a doctor and it happens that she'd be terminally ill or something, she wants me to sedate her, put her to sleep and just let her go.. I guess.. I think I'd do it. I know it'd be tough, but at the same time I wouldn't let her (or anyone else I love) suffer that much.
