Tell me the number of wars fought in the past, and today, over religion. Then tell me there might not be some truth in my sentence.
in the past, alot. but now I don't think there are. the war between Israel and Palestine is not about religion. war between America & Iraq is not about religion. the war between America & Afghanistan is not about war there's no war about religion in these days. Plus, in the community who doesn't believe in god or don't do their religion's rules are fucked up. All religions say like, killing is not allowed drugs ain't allowed, drinks ain't allowed. Like people who do not do their religion's rules get drunk or take drugs. In the End alot of problems come from drinking and taking drugs or even having sex.For Example, here in Kuwait (the country I live in) is muslim country and the people their do their religions reules, so here, it's a rare thing to find someone killed another one or someone raped someone else.
And thats was my opinion

I have limited foreign affair knowledge, but I don't believe that the Irael Palestine war is not religion motivated. If the Israeli people were Muslim there would be less problems. America & Afghanistan & Iraq is of course motivated by religion. Muslim terrorists attacked the Twin Towers, America declares a war on terror as a result. In the 90s there was the IRA trouble in Ireland, religiously motivated because of the catholic/protestant divide.
Christianity's 10 commandments are misquoted nowadays. Thou shalt not kill (other people of our religion) was the original meaning. People of other religions may be killed. Just read the Old Testament. A more vicious, violent book you could not find. Every religion at its core is an exclusive group. People who don't believe are at best ignored and at worst actively targeted to be killed. We don't get our morals from religion anyway. You aren't telling me that the reason you don't kill, steal, fight is because you believe in God?
People do bad things because they are bad people, in fact, it is proven that most crimes are committed by religious people.

No, i don't say believing in god is the reason. Religion is the reason. it's like Religion = the country's law. if you respect the country's law you won't do something against that law, you will obey the law. So is religion if you respect it you will obey the religion so when the religion say don't steal you won't steal. You aren't telling me that the reason you don't kill, steal, fight is because you believe in God?
