Hey there TR Members and TR Guests, how are you doing? After my critically acclaimed Fiasco Experiment, I’m proud to present you the first TR Weekly Magazine – Fiasco Classics. The buzz is huge, and all fans of sarcasm, irony, trolling, and soul should read and appreciate this. This is the first of the many issues to come and not all features have been used for this pilot. Things had to be kept interesting. So anyway, in this issue you’ll read some of the latest TR news and my take on it, as well as your favorite member’s (me) recommendations. Have fun and don’t forget to leave feedback. Oh and, special thanks goes out to Guess_Who (Emma) for coming through for the interview section. It was a pleasure having you in the first issue.

Interview with Guess_Who
1. First things first, let’s take care of the predictable question, how does it feel to be one of the few females on TR?
Feels weird. At first I was surprised by the small number of girls here. I saw some people acting strangely with the girls, so I thought it had been a mistake to disclose my gender. Also the "life" of a female in Tr seems to be short. But I'm still here, I guess I'm headstrong. And no, I don't compete with my fellow ladies. It would be a nonsense.
2. Most members are saying that this place has fallen off, so with that in mind, what has been your favorite period on TR (no pun intended)?
My favorite period was during the Recovery Era, when we had a heavy flow (pun intended) of Eminem's news and promotion, performances, etc...Things were very lively back then. And there was a lot of funny stuff, I remember those "In Bolivia.." memes that VBV used to make, and I have to say I started the joke when eathealthy posted a pic with his "sister" on the beach (Anyone remember this?)
But I still have fun even if things are more dead now. Like in the gay debate. Some people know what I'm talking about. And things will be more lively again when Eminem drops a new album.
3. If you had to go on a date with a TR member, who would you choose and why? Other than me of course, that’s too obvious.
Hmmmm my boyfriend would love this question, haha ... I could say like 5 names, then I would have to do a casting, and pick just one. Who are they?? Ohh Guess who !!
4. What do you think of this whole magazine idea?
I like the idea, It can bring some life to the forum. So keep it up with the job!
5. Are you flattered to be the first person interviewed for the magazine?
Yes,definitely, It went to my head. I'm about to put this on my Curriculum... On a serious note, I'm surprised that you chose me, there are people here way more popular than me. So I'm somehow flattered, you are one of the people here that I like, so I'm glad if it is mutual.
6. Is there some member that you used to hate but now you like, or the other way around?
Hate is a word too big for a forum. I dont take things too far. It's no secret that I had problems with some people, or some people had problems with me. I made the mistake of respond to a pile of nonsense, but not anymore. If you can't get along well with somebody the best thing is just ignore that person. Fights on the wild wide web are such a waste of time!
I think some people have changed, are more mature now, for example Bigboss. But personally I never had problems with him.
7. Do you ever check out the creative writing section? I had a piece named after you there (sort of) and I believe you missed it.
Oops you got me! no I don't....I think I did only a couple of times...So, what piece is that? haha , send me the link!!
8. Is it a plus for you if some guy you like is a (good) rapper?
yeah, of course. I like creative guys, and if he has talent it is a plus, no doubt.
9. Do you smoke weed? If yes – why, if no – why not?
Not anymore and not many times...I did when I was a teenager, some crazy weekends at night I got high with my friends just for the fun, like almost everybody I guess. I stopped at some point. And I'm glad. I have a couple of lifelong friends lost in these stories. There is a moment for everything. Now I like to take care of myself.
10. Have you ever kissed a girl? How was it?
haha, a girl kissed me actually, it was a funny story. I think I was like 16 years old, I was in a theater group, we were all girls, because the boys were in a basket group. So another girl was playing my Valentine. At some point she had to kiss me, so we decided she would put her hand covering my mouth and then she would kiss her hand pretending she was kissing me (seedy I know). But the day of the performance she kissed me for real, I don't know why. We had our minute of glory. After the teacher scolded us. (I didn't enjoy the kiss, Sorry to disappoint)

***** Devetted/Ethered
I wasn’t a member when ***** was doing his thing in here, but I knew him from his YouTube channel and from lurking the forums every now and then. So anyway, I’ve got nothing against him, but my brother name has ethered him in different occasions, and given this magazine’s purpose I have to comment on it. The first headshot came in a thread regarding Megan Fox where ***** set himself up by saying: “Overrated skank”. And then name delivered a knock-out punch with: “Are you talking about your reputation?” Ouch, that had to fucking hurt. The comment was followed with tons of praise for name, with people saying: “fucking PWNED!” / “Name again with the one line ether” / “Dayuummmmmmm, my CREAMy boy ethering everything in his way” / and bunch of rolling smiley faces. Back to this week, ***** got devetted and he got called out on his fan page while setting himself up again in the meantime. He said: “I dont go on the "fan" page. if you cant notice the end of the posts have an @, which says who posted it. very professional to open the thread up btw”. Name got him again with “Page is in your name and you don't control it, very professional”, which again was followed with praise for him. Trimss joined the conversation with: “You posted a status yesterday saying /Alex and I thank you../ so you definitely still go on the fanpage.”. ***** tried to defend himself with: “yes, that was me. notice the twitter/non-twitter. NOTICE THE FEET NOTICE THE FEET”, but name got him again with: “Google Translate didn't work with this one.”On top of all that, ***** made another thread directed at name, which backfired as well, and he got ridiculed for taking Eminem videos from other YouTubers and presenting them as his own. Sorry *****, but it’s safe to say that you got run out of TR.

Slim’s Random Review
Cornel West and Noam Chomsky are my favorite writers. In this issue, I’m recommending you to read Cornel West’ book “Democracy Matters”. The book addresses the duality in life in a very good way, and with Cornel’s strong moral values, you will receive an excellent advice on how to appreciate things more, and how to help the world become a better place. Now don’t get me wrong, the book is far from preachy. It addresses nihilism in America, and how the media and society implement wrong values on people, making you think that you’re worthless if you don’t have the expensive cars or other material possessions. Regarding dualism, Dr. West is using the terms “Constantinian” and “prophetic” as adjectives for both Christianity and Hip-Hop. Yes, Cornel is a Hip-Hop fan, and the prophetic Hip-Hop alludes to what many people refer to as real Hip-Hop, or to phrase it better – good Hip-Hop. There’s a whole chapter dedicated to Hip-Hop and you’ll enjoy reading a professor of Dr. West’ magnitude appreciating it. As far as Christianity and other religions, the book shows you that there are good and bad sides to each one. As an atheist, I’d prefer if nobody believed in god, but reading this book, I realized that religion can be beneficial if the right side (the prophetic one) was dominating. You only need to compare it to Hip-Hop and the point is made clear. Dr. West also explains the concept of Socratic questioning which tells you that you need to be critical of the government, and other things in life, and how it can improve the society. So yeah, you should definitely pick this up, especially if you’re an American citizen, but the concepts can be applied to all states. Oh and, you’ll also get a better perspective on the Israel-Palestine situation.

Slim’s Musical Review
Man, I fucking love De La Soul. They, along with the Leaders Of The New School, A Tribe Called Quest, Brand Nubian, the Jungle Brothers, and others alike, some of them part of the Native Tongues collective, presented a different and more positive sound in the late 80’s/early 90’s. I know most of you are more appreciative of the technical part of MCing, and while these groups weren’t the most lyrical dudes, they had soul. Their music is refreshing for the ear, and the originality is off the charts. Their music is also a time capsule and you’ll feel like it’s the 90’s when you hear that awesomeness playing. I recommend you to check out the album “De La Soul is Dead”, it’s a massive one, and you’ll know it’s dope just by looking at the cover. Hit play, sit back, and just relax to the positivity. There’s no need for me to pay attention to separate tracks or whatever, what matters is that the album is music from the heart. No compromising, nothing is forced, you only get the feeling of inner peace. Put that smile on your face and enjoy it!
Become Cooler
Work on yourself. I have talked about this in the past, but I can’t stress it enough. You need to work on your body, you need to work on your skills regarding the fields you want to be successful in, and you need to increase your knowledge. I’ll concentrate on the last one. This is something that nobody can take away from you, and it’s something that can separate you from most people. We’re leaving in a world of lazy fucks and idiots, and you simply must not be one. They say the more you learn, the more you realize how much you don’t know and it’s true. Start reading books, it’s awesome. Once you do so, you’ll realize how many new things there are to know and the more stuff you discover the better you will feel about yourself. It may appear as if you can do without that knowledge, but believe me it’s much better to know more. You have all the time in the world, and you can become a fucking machine in no time. But remember, it’s not about being the most knowledgeable person in the world, there’s always someone who will know more, but becoming a unique and well-rounded person with brains is a must. The downside is that you’ll often need to dumb yourself down, given that many people may consider you a nerd/weird or what-have-you if you start a conversation about some “lame” subjects. But there are always people who can understand you so you shouldn’t give a fuck about some ignorant fucks, and just love yourself. Love yourself because you deserve it. Try to constantly improve yourself and become a better person. Ignore the things that are out of your control and stick to your perception of the world.

Ill Mind Of Hopsin 5 Drops – Hop killed it
This forum is full of Hopsin fans, and moreover, fans who have known Hopsin for a while, have supported him when few people knew him, and have rooted for him to succeed. The new Ill Mind Of Hopsin installment is the best in the series, and it’s the first sign of Hopsin blowing up. With that being said, congrats to all the fans in here, because I hope that Hop’s recent success has made you happy about him just as it did so with me. This new song should be a wake-up call for many people given that our youth is drowning in shit. For those who are already awake, this song is probably a confidence boost or something, assuring you that you’re on the right path, and that being a misfit at times is alright given that it’s not your fault, and that you’re staying true to yourself. A lot of people hate on Hopsin though, calling him corny and stuff, others are saying that he’s too preachy. Well, the things that he’s saying are true and they’re worth noting. I don’t give a single fuck if other people have already made the same statement, it should be said times and times again considering most people are still sleepwalking. Should we also stop saying that racism is bad, or that cigarettes and drugs are bad? I guess we should, since it’s already been said and all. Other than that, a lot of people are missing three key points. The first one is that Hopsin is a great dude, and the best rapper when it comes to connecting with your fan base. If you knew how humble he was, I doubt you’d badmouth him. Second, his success is good for Hip-Hop. He’s making quality music, conveying good massages, proving people that you can “make it” with nothing but your own skills, and bringing the spotlight back to good Hip-Hop. This is a big win for the culture and its fans, and if we don’t support it then we deserve the alleged bad state which all the “real heads” are complaining about. Last but not least, Hopsin isn’t saying that he’s the guy who knows everything, in fact he’s far from cocky. He’s simply a guy who has come to the realization that our society is a very fucked up one, and that you should be productive in your life i.e. working on yourself and improving the world inside and around you. He’s simply trying to help, and I personally assure you that he is in a position to do so, he’s been a personal inspiration for me; and if someone is honestly trying to help people, then people shouldn’t oppose that regardless if they like him or his music.

New Battle Tournament
Props to Spyder for hosting this! It should be a nice addition to the writing section, and a great follow-up to my Fiasco Experiment. I’m great at battling on my own language, but not so much on English. However, I decided to participate in order to show support and it should be fun given that we’re doing it in teams. I suggest you guys to keep an eye on it, and you’ll be able to keep up with it via this section of my magazine. Of course, you can always check the actual thread and the actual battles.

EminemBase – Introspection At Its Finest
Where should I start with this guy? I have to say that he’s one of my favorite members, and even though we basically haven’t quoted each other ever, one has to admire his posts. He’s very argumentative and I don’t think he’s really lost a debate on this forum. However, the best thing about him is that he pays attention to detail, and while some people may mind his lengthy posts I thoroughly enjoy them. I like that he’s thinking outside of the box and he always has some great ideas that someone like Eminem could really benefit by executing them. He supports the more soulful and artistic aspects of life and one can find an inspiration when reading his opinions on the educational systems or the state of Hip-Hop. Here’s a recent quote of his that I really liked:
Almost all geniuses I know of, or all the people I admire are self-taught. Teaching yourself, self-discovery and an open-mind and, trail-blazing your way through life... this way of thinking leads to a more interesting and independent personality.
This is something that I completely agree with, and if you don’t then you better think about a little better. I’ll end this with saying that he’s also great at writing music reviews and here’s another short quote that demonstrates that:
What makes Em’s beats so great to me, and particularly great on The Eminem Show is the melodies. When you think of a classic song of his, produced by him, you can immediately think of the melody that gives life to the song. Try it now, think of “The Way I Am”, or “Without Me”, or try… “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” – you can hear those melodies right there in your mind. Some of which sound like classic musical melodies which are just so instantly memorable.

TR Quotable
This week’s quotable goes to my man Geno:
I'm encircled by phantoms dancin'.. chance of emergin' alive?
I stand and try jerkin' beside and ram 'em so merciless I'm,
Then stamped as a person of crime, branded and burned at the sight,
"This man isn't worth any time, I damn him a curse on his life"
So now I'm showered for hours with molten lava and toxens,
Rocks and battered with boulders.. poundin' down on my noggin',
Sounds of them talkin' echo forever.. hauntin' my mind,
It feels like I can't pedal but yet I'm drawn to the bike,
I'm a walkin' anonymous sight, so slender and ominous like,
I'm wrong but still followin' rights, left for the vultures to die,
Wantin' to fly but my wings were snipped from my fingertips,
Still lingerin' is the strength in my chest, now relinquish it,
Picture this, a little more attention for this penmenship,
Your sole purpose is soul service, but I ain't sellin' it,
I recommend endin' it with a letter to next-of-kin,
But heaven nor hell is where I'm restin' so guess again...
Celebrating Aftermather’s Ban
No jokes here, I don’t want to be repetitive, this is just the last time I give this bitch any attention, and I’ll do that by saying – it’s wonderful to not have you in here, I hope your future husband beats you up, cause maybe then you’ll start appreciating that shock value thingy.
*The “Ask The God” and “TR Asshole Of The Week” sections are empty in this issue due to no submission from the members.
