I love the actual state, it's beautiful.
But the economy is a disaster.
Our unemployment rate is as high as anywhere, and we literally have the highest gas prices in the entire country. Plus we're one of the only states where interstate thruway taxes are still in effect.
Word is we're running the risk of NY going bankrupt.
Weatherwise, I love that we get the best of 4 seasons.
Plenty of sun in summer, plenty of snow in winter, a lovely fall, and a rejuvinating spring.
If you mean the city of NY, then I can tell you that it's one of the most breathtaking places in the Northeast United States (along with The Falls).
