Bar & Snow are the new age Scottish hip hop duo coming up strong through the ranks. They first appeared on the scene early 2010 with debut “There On Top” .They have been coming on strong since then and have released a mix tape entitled "Snow'd In At The Bar". Since then they have had numerous gigs all over the West of Scotland where they have built up a fan base in a previously untapped market gaining loyal fans. The stage chemistry between the two artists is explosive due to the charismatic and energetic performances wowing crowds.
Bar, real name David Barclay started writing at the age of 16 influenced by old school American hip hop and new school UK hip hop developing an interesting blend of styles. At 17 years of age Bar started recording tracks, then at the end of 2009 tracks such as Sex, Helping Hand and Ready Steady Go showed his true potential as an artist and gained the core of his loyal fan base.
Snow, real name Mark Snowdon started writing at the age of 15 to dance beats and was involved in the local mc scene. At the age of 17 Snow turned to hip hop to let out his creative side and got noticed with tracks like, Got What It Takes, Its All Sadness and Mind Your Business. You can still hear the influence of the mc'ing in his raps which makes for an interesting blend of hip hop and mc'ing.
Now with the heads turning and the backing of Evolution Events, both at the age of 19 it is the time for them to come to the top of the genre. So look forward to some more interesting tracks and more explosive on stage performances.
