Interesting, I had heard Joe Rogan was an advocate of psychedelics, but haven't actually read his views. I read many many Erowid reports, along with Aldous Huxley's Doors of Perception & Heaven and Hell long before I pursued anything. I'm sure you've probably read a few Experience Reports in your time that really peaked your interest...it was the same thing with me. The Mescaline reports were filled with wonder and amazement, and so was I when the time came. I've read about Dimitri, but have never came into contact with it. The only compareable thing for me would possibly be a high strength Salvia extract. Very strange, very strong--but also very short-lived.

Fair enough, I can understand where you're coming from on that point. You're right--not too many people here would have much to offer in the way of credible information on this subject. However, there are a few. I was just interested in anything anyone might have to say. I never would have pegged you for a possible psychonaut, nor would I have thought Slimm would have been remotely interested in psychedelics. I was feeling good, even great, and in a spontaneous moment I decided to possibly spark some discussion on something I view with reverence. God knows I wouldn't do it to appear cool--I don't see any great recreational value in psychedelic drugs. I see them more as a tool, which isn't the type of mindset that young and stupid kids find to be all that awesome. Your post is something I might keep in mind next time though, when I may decide to approach the situation in a different way.

Read about psychonautism (is that even a word) a week before and after reading fear and loathing by your recommendation I guess I'm pretty intrested in the whole thing, don't really know alot about it though. Thanks for sharing your experience.
