The majority of muslims are respectful of this day - 3.5million Muslims fought for Britain in WW2 and many have fought for Britain since then. Many will have been killed.

You do know that democracies aren't based on one culture, right? A culture is the web of thoughts, behavior, beliefs, etc. of a group of people. That web is the concept that makes these people relate to each other. And a democracy usually has a lot of different groups that have their own culture.

These people are born in the same country as you were born in. It's as much THEIR country as it is YOURS. Like Mike said, you do not own that country. If you have a problem with that I guess you need to leave that country, because you're clearly having problems with the constitution of the country you're living in.
