(HELP)I need Help Switching back to my first hardrive.

Postby Vettori » Apr 2nd, '11, 18:39

I was on my computer, and a message appeared that said- My first hardrive was getting full, and i had the option to save my ongoing projects on the second hardrive...

when i did this..my cool edit mixing settings dissapeared. i had settings that i just messed with for a long time..nothing i can remember off the top...so it's sort of a loss atm.

i was wondering ifthere was a way to set it back up to my first hardrive ..where the settings could potentially be saved..

if anyone could help me...it would mean alot...Ive got alot of mixing to finish and the longer it delays ..the less work i can do.

Thank you in advance....

I should be able to help you with that, But I didnt understood your problem lol.

if you have your settings saved on the first hard drive but you are using your second hard drive just switch to default on the first one, I dont know if thats what u meant. lol

Yeah.. I know pretty much anything and everything to know bout computers. But I'm a bit confuzzeled on his problem too.

It kinda sounds like you saved some information/settings on both.. But you are only accessing what you have saved what is on the first HD only. Not the latest information that was probably saved to the second HD? Try manually going to the second HD and finding what you need and opening it that way. Do not use a shortcut or icon from the desktop just once.

But if you could explain a little more it might help too.

It's a very foreign problem to me...

My computer says something like " Your hardrive is full and i should use my second hardrive for the rest of my files." I have a terrabyte on my computer, and it has two hard drives.

I can click switch them, or not.
and ive done both ways. and they still change the settings on my computer
Iv'e had to use system restore a few times, and every few downloads, i make i get that message... and have to roll back a day >.< it's very inconveniant and hard to explain...

My computer had a secondary mic in it..That i finally learned how to mute.. a while back, and it gets switched back when that change occurs. as well as all the Settings in my Adobe audition.
>.< veyr confusing...i feel theres a way to transfer the settings from My old harddrive to the new one..but it's fuckin Confusing. :confusion:
