Ehh.. I use to listen to Eminem and only him when i was like 14/15. Then, I added Kanye West, Fifty, and Weezy and T.I (I loved their verse on SOLDIER by beyoncé Lmao) to that list... And then, i discovered step by step other GOOD artists.

Eminem is a bridge for those who don't like rap, when you like eminem music, you just start and search if other rappers are like that. And you find out that there are a lot of differents Mc's who are dope too, and that you've been missin a lot.

but satire, that's one type of stans, but you shouldn't feel sorry for stans who listen to a massive variety of rappers but hold eminem as the best and like him the most like i do?


ofc his new shit ain't in that level, but I regard SSLP MMLP TES over any album over any artist over anything i have ever heard in the music industry rap or non rap, bethoven to beatles to jackson ....

Not too long ago I held Eminem as the greatest rapper ever too, so obviously I'm not saying I feel bad for somebody who thinks that. Listening to hip-hop and having a favorite is just an average rap fan, I don't consider that a Stan. (Don't spite me for the "Stan" Award thing, that thread wasn't really my interpretation of the word "Stan", rather the general consensus held by alot of people for some reason considering I didn't even control the nominations).

I'm talking specifically about Stans who listen to the music ALOT, but it's always the same artist (Eminem), whether it be because of some superficial reason or because they just can't seem to enjoy any other type of musician from the same genre. It's not a bad thing, taste is taste. I'm just saying that the image of it just seems sad, because we both know there's plenty of good music out there and it's an amazing experience when you discover an artist you love, but some people unfortunately only get to have that experience once in Hip-Hop.
