This I highly disagree with and don't feel like turning this into a debate about this subject but if the person is ignoring evidence and chooses to be an idiot by constantly repeating refuted statements. Than just about any sane person would likely get pissed off, obviously I'm not saying make every insult be something that you would concoct or have an Embase meltdown, but you're not going to get anywhere if you try to be the nice guy at that point, besides I'm pretty sure it's a fallacy to discredit someone's argument just because they insult someone, you can still have a substantial debate even if it turns a little heated.
Fair enough. But imo a good debater doesn't have to rely on insults to win a debate. It doesn't have anything to do with being the good or bad guy, youre debating something, youre not debating eachothers lifestyles. I'm just tired of turning shit personal. Cause then I'll literally have to layout a couple paragraphs of insults if I did and I'd rather not. So we agree to disagree. That's cool.
