Teen Wolf

Postby Master Chief » Aug 16th, '11, 05:37

Does anyone watch this show? Is anyone familiar with this show? Does anyone realize that this is the best show ever (despite its mildly homosexual name)?

The finale was today and I'm quite sad that my favorite show on TV is over... until the next season picks up. Yes I know, MTV fucking blows. Teen Wolf is the exception (and The Challenge: Rivals). Excuse the gay name btw. I made fun of the show before it started because of the name. But it blew
my mind once I saw the Pilot. Check it out it's an action/drama/comedy/romance/horror all in one. Oh and it is NOTHING like Twilight, they actually tried to stray away from all that and make it BETTER and more edgy.

Is there anyone out there?
Who feels the way I feel
If there is, let me hear just so I know I'm not the only one :guitar:

^ That's what everyone says when they check the show out. It's really good.

Check it out, Rev. It's only 12 episodes since this was the first season. You can watch it on MTV.com. I strongly suggest to anyone to NOT judge the show based on the name. That would be a grave mistake.

Gonna watch the pilot and maybe download the 1st season (illegally of course).

This one is a bit more cinematic and funny. It's overall different than your normal supernatural drama.

Let us know what you think of it in this thread :y:

It's about this kid Scott who gets bit by The Alpha (Wolf) and becomes a Wolf himself from the bite. He has to learn how to control his Wolf transformations with help from Derek (Wolf) because when he goes Wolf he becomes a savage with no control of his action. He's also in love with this girl Allison but he then finds out in the Pilot that she is the daughter of Wolf hunters so there is another issue there. And he plays Lacrosse, and is rivals with Jackson who is suspicious of his newly increased strength, abilities etc... He gets help from his best friends Stiles (who is hilarious) throughout the series.

^ Pretty much the main plot but it gets much more complicated as the show progresses. The show includes a lot of Werewolf mythology too which is cool.

Saw the pilot yesterday, it's an alright show. My problem with it is all the filler between the plot progression, first 10 mins are good, next 20 minutes are full of typical cringeworthy MTV high school drama shit, last 10 minutes it picks up again. Shit got pretty corny at some points. Either way it's not a bad show, but I've got plenty of other shit i'm more interested in seeing.

Like what
I can't think of any good new shows tbh!

Let's see, shows i'm currently watching:

Weeds
Futurama
Malcom In The Middle
Tosh.O
The Wire
Scrubs
Californication
Arrested Development
new season of Dexter when it premieres.

And these are just the shows i'm currently watching, i've got others that I plan on seeing but haven't started yet.
