Should Special needs people be treated like normal people?

Postby Atone » Apr 11th, '12, 22:54

This is something i have been talkin about for a very long time, and alot of you are probably going to blindly hate and say i'm an asshole (my mom sure did) but everything i am about to say is 100% truth

1. Special needs people want so bad to be accepted and treated like normal people in society.

I agree, yes, they deserve to be treated normal, BUT, do normal people get special opportunities in life? why is it that Special people, or anybody in society get mad when somebody bullies a special needs person?

Being bullied happens to everybody, special needs or not it will happen to you, so this is where i find it hypacritical of anybody standing up and saying bullying them is wrong,

they want so bad to be treated like normal people but when faced with a normal person's issue, such as bullying, or waiting in line, they suddenly want to be favored, NO! normal people wait in long lines, and they often learn to accept getting bullied, so, Special Needs people should be forced to wait in line, they should quit bitchen about what other people say about them and fucking deal with it on their own.

i seen a episode of pimp my house, or whatever the fuck the name of that show is with Ty Pennington and 20 gay dudes who fix up people's houses, and this lady adopted like 10 special needs kids, good for her, she shopuld not get any special attention, so what ifso hard on her, she brought that hardship on herself BY ADOPTING ALL THOSE KIDS!

i find it beyond retarded (no pun intended) that people go out of their way to help others, but then complain about how difficult and hard it is on them, and how they should get special treatment because they did such a good thing for other people.

NO! you spent YOUR money, YOUR time to help ppl, you did not have to, nobody asked you to, that is YOUR problem, no other person should be dragged into it, you do not deserve special treatment because you want to feel like a hero.

Ty pennington fixing up that ladies house, cool, but everybody was making the fact that this lady adopted a bunch of special needs kids the main story to grab hearts, and everybody fell for it,

Ty even put a fucking carnival in their house because these kids cannot go to many public places or events.

ummm, yes they can, they just choose not to because they want to be treated different due to their special needs, yet, they also want to be treated like normal

WELL NORMAL FUCKING PEOPLE DON'T HAVE A DAMN ARCADE CARNIVAL IN THEIR HOUSE!

you want to be treated like normal people, get in your special made wheelchair, and wheel your happy ass out of your house, go wait in line at the local arcade, buy some tickets, play some games, and if somebody bullies you, kick them in the balls and actually fight back.
--------------------------------------

The same can be said about racial discrimination, or sexual orientation, i don't give a fuck if your black, mexican, gay, bi, or have a dick attatched to your vagina, stop crying because you can't handle a racial slur, we all get bullied, words are words, quit fucking crying and learn how to deal with it without having to get Al Sharpton to show up at your sonm's funeral.

Before I say anything, are we talking special needs as in mentally handicapped or physically, or both?

Of course they should be treated equally, everyone in the world deserves to be treated equally.

If your jealous of special needs folks getting treated better then you, you have other problems you need to confront

Because bullying is harassment. And nobody deserves to be harassed, especially someone who is defenseless. Of course we're supposed to be "mad".

Being bullied happens to everybody, special needs or not it will happen to you, so this is where i find it hypacritical of anybody standing up and saying bullying them is wrong,

That's only hypocritical if people think bullying is fine with the exceptions against special needs people. But for you to say anybody who is against bullying special needs is hypocritical doesn't make the slightest of sense.

What part of special needs don't you understand? They should be treated normally, but there are special exceptions because they have special needs.

Anyway, I stopped reading your ridiculous rant after that.

There are other reasons why it is hard for people with special needs to go to a lot of public places and events. Access-A-Ride, which is a form of public transportation that offers services to those who cannot get to a bus stop on their own, charges us $9 per trip to go anywhere. At first it seemed like a life-saver, until 5 doctor's appointments came up, which brought our total to $90. Not to mention that you have wait an hour for the bus to pick you up, and they're usually always late :( and you have to plan your time you spend outside down to the minute to make sure that you don't miss the bus for the return trip because you can't change times without adding another hour to your wait time.

I really hope this is just a bad troll because I cannot understand why you feel that because we don't like your shitty music, that you feel the need to attack those with special needs.

yeah but handicapped people arent aware they are addicted.. and they arent aware of the consequenses like a normal person would be. and the handicapped people ive seen, arent regular addicts that frequent the casino.. just retards that get excited, and gamble their entire cheque away, and then when they have no money left they come to us employees looking for answers.

I don't get it Atone, why do you want to be treated normally? Take advantage of your disability's perks. I mean if you weren't special needs do you think people would ever humor you by pretending to enjoy your music?
