I haven't lived there for a few years now but a good place none the less

Rap attracts me because of the honesty that comes with it, and I hate to be on the emo tip 'ihavvryhrdlyfefelsrryfrmi' but I probably would've killed myself if it wasn't for Rap but more specifically the ability to create music.
There is nothing like the feeling I get when words and phrases just seem to flow out of me and the fact it gives me a platform to vent my frustrations on is even better.
And when I write something and perform it for a group of people to see them cheering, laughing at a punchline or whatever even if there's only 20 or 500 people there is no better high.
Without the emotional shite, rap is literally the only thing i excel at and makes me feel on top of the world.

For sure, man.
I'm hoping to get a decent recording set up soon and be more serious with putting out music so it'd be cool to collaborate

I'll give you an example of artists who've influenced different components of what I am as an MC.

Tech N9ne/Ol Dirty Bastard/Serj Tankian taught me that the voice is something to be utilize and rapping in the same tone the whole time is boring, I'm working on my delivery still but my vision is to be more 'hyper' on the mic.

Seth Sentry/Freddie Gibbs/The Notorious B.I.G taught me how important storytelling is and as much as I could say a bunch of random battle rhymes, a good coherent story makes a far better song.

Devin The Dude/Slick Rick/Gucci Mane taught me to not take my music to seriously all the time and left field concepts can turn out well if they're funny.
