i think your commenting more on a phycoligies view, like view you doing something, beileive your doing it, and you will do it
i know this works in footbal ( soccer for americans ) and many players use it for penalty's and free-kicks..including myself when i used to play for morton, the steps were
1. close you eyes and view yourself running up hitting the ball and scoring, do this like 5-10 times in your head
2.beileive that you can do it and just did it
3. run up and do it
it doesnt always work but it does help alot and profeesional footballers do use this technique to help them concentrate
also i aint syaing its a magical thing its just getting you mind into the state that it beileive's it can do it, and when running over it in your head you mind knows axactly how you need ot do it, and does help
i scored a freekick once wheni did it..but i was a right back so i didnt take many free-kicksor penatly's lol
