you know the icon in the taskbar/startmenu just next to the time and date, that shows the internet icon? you put your mouse over it and the connection you are connected to pops up in a balloon?
it's always one connection, right? for about two months mine has shown two, it used to show one...


could the second one, that is named "unidentified network", be a second connection that gives information to someone so they can see what I'm doing?
by going to the internet company's website or something?

So since you're probably on a wireless connection..
It's probably because you have more than one network that is configured to automatically connect.
Just find your network in the list and Connect to it
