The whole point of the movie was lets see how dumb we can make this guy act. There was no creativity in it at all, it was stupid.

There doesn't need to be super creative plots for a movie to be funny. Superbad had absolutely no plot involved, yet it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in recent memory.

Monty python: holy grail - has no plot, yet is widly considered one of the funniest movies ever made.

ehh, your opinion I suppose. It's called slapstick comedy. (The movie Airplane, for example, is a perfect example of this) Some people don't like it... I love it. There's actually a lot of creativity in making someone that stupid.

The movie just pissed me off because I didn't understand why Robert Downey Jr. kept putting up with his shit the whole time. Slapstick comedy just pisses me off because it reminds me of people in real life who are that stupid and I hate stupid people.

I enjoyed the movie but about halfway through it started going over the top. The part where he ditches the guy at the boarder, steals the trailer, the car crash off the bridge. Just illogical stuff like that made me enjoy it less.

I enjoy deadpan humor so there where some parts I liked it but the movie as a whole wasn't non stop laughing like Superbad. Not as many quotables either.

I personally think Clerks II was the funniest movie I've ever seen.
