It used to be a site where the scum of the Internet would come together to fuck peoples' shit up just for a laugh.

Now it's a place where kids go cause they think they're hilarious by posting trollface.

Well obviously the fact that everyone can be anonymous there meant everyone could do whatever the fuck they wanted. They didn't give a shit about the layout lol.

It was nothing big when I say the scum of the Internet, it was just real trolling. People who think they can troll have nothing on these guys. The thirteen year-old guy who tricked a 25-year-old autistic manchild that he would give him back his PS3 Network account if he shoved a medallion he made up his anus, the guy known as "Wattagecat" who terrorised YouTubers in the early days, from the fat psychopathic nutcase Argent009 to the 'net wide laughter at a lesbian maker of bears who was told to shove her gay-infected bears up her vag. Driving around bookstores in a van with a megaphone shouting "Snape Kills Dumbledore" on the launch night of the new Harry Potter book. Hacking a guy's MySpace through 7 passwords and making his girlfriend think he's gay and break up with him by plastering gay porn all over his site. This is real trolling. Not posting "trollface" or saying "u mad" or purposefully acting like an idiot thinking you're being smart.

And i'm not talking about people on here i'm talking about the audience you find on 4Chan these days, since it got so popular that everyone with a modem and a laptop knows pretty much every meme from the site. Even most of the people on this site know it, despite the fact that I bet half of them barely even go on 4Chan lol.

Honestly, 4chan is for fagots and children these days. 4chan hasn't been relevant since 07, and even then it was average. There are other, more "original" boards out there that I'd be glad to PM to someone who is interested. But I warn you ahead of time, these boards are like 4chan on methamphetamine and DMT. You'll see shit that cannot be unseen, and if you think your balls have already dropped... you're wrong, because they'll drop some more.

I still go on there. I can't not go on /b/. I've been going there since 05, through everything that has happened with the site. despite the abundance of newfaggotry, there are still a few wins. Even some epic wind now and again. The problem is, as kez said, it's too popular now. So there's a bunch of faggotry. And dicks all over. literal dicks, not metaphorical.

That's nothing. Earlier than that, when I was a noob on /b/, there was this guy that pretend to be a girl. I mean, he looked like a girl... he showed his ass on webcam, etc.. Made a bunch of guys film vids of themselves jerking to him, revealed he was a guy and humiliated them by blasting those videos out to their schools. Or, the win video competition.. where a bunch of guys got younger girls to show their tits on MSN/YIM and then changed the conversation and email the contents/photos to their parents. The best is the kid that tortured cats... They found where he lived via clues from his videos, tracked him down and burnt his car after beating the shit out of him and his friends.

Back when it was more than memes and stupid pictures... anonymous actually united and did some crazy things.

Not often, no. Occasionally people will frame others for drug related crap, or post private information and some poor girl will get harassed, but it's not "epic" anymore.

I'll send those to everyone that wanted them soon, I need to find the text document I have that has all of them listed. Some of them have weird hard to remember names.
