@Slim Fiasco : Personally I was exposed to underground Hip Hop online, though I knew every West Coast-based rapper by my friends and that's what they usually bumped on the streets, that was a stupid question so i'll take it back, too much "continent-ism" on it, considering i'm currently in a country that's waaaay before any other county in terms of hip hop.

New question : Tell me your story with Hip Hop.

It's all good. But yeah, it comes down to Hip-Hop forums on the internet, sites like HipHopDx etc.

The first time I was introduced to Hip-Hop was back in '99 when I bought a tape by this local act who had a hit record at the time. However, I wasn't exposed to any foreign Hip-Hop music in the next 3 years so the first time I started listening to rap on the regular was when Em hit big (over here). First song I heard was Cleanin' Out My Closet and then Lose Yourself made a huge noise as well. I kept listening to mostly mainstream artists until '06. I loved Kanye in the meanwhile and I really liked Lupe ever since I heard him on Touch The Sky and Tilted. I was also big on some local acts. In '06, two of my friends showed me some classic Hip-Hop like Big L and Nas, which I loved, and I started to do more digging. I got internet connection in '08 and that's when my music library got even bigger plus I got to read plenty of trivia and news regarding artists and rap in general. I also started rapping on my own but I started kinda late considering I was 18 in '08. Therefore, my flow isn't very good even though my lyrics are. I guess I need more time practicing.

That's a good idea and I'd like to but I only write/rap on Macedonian so dR3 is the only one that would understand it, lol. I do occasionally write on English but it comes down to line or two. Like, the other day I was reading some ish on phonetics and wrote this:

I don`t hate him, I`m just a huge C.R.E.A.M fan, and Mc Meltdown wanted to take his place, so I have been ploting against him. But that`s all in the past now.
