You need to do some serious work/ reflection to get to the bottom of all the problems and decide if there is a lot of love and commitment to get through the tough times, as well as ensuring that there is mutual respect at all times.

And you need to decide whether it is worth it. Unfortuately, both of you need to come to the same consensus as well as not hold the past against each other- otherwise the cycle will continue.
