Idk noddy, the forum is dead right now.... and it happens everytime Em disappears.

I can't help but think the same will happen in another forum dedicated to Em.

Being something created by TR members (and I hope other members join as well), it'll already be a stronghold for Eminem/Shady Records fans.

But giving it a little diversity (and by that I mean making Kendrick and TDE focal points as well) would help generate more traffic.

Kendrick is about to release the follow up to a modern hip-hop classic, people will start to hit google for information about it and looking through forums, having a strong Kendrick Lamar/TDE section would bring in a ton of new members.

Lets say we do make it a hip hop forum, how are we gonna make sure that Kendrick fans join ? Like, it doesn't make sense if you are going by that logic. Even if we do have a section, most Kendrick fans are on other big hip hop forums such as the coli, and to get some of them to join on our forum is hard as fuck. Same goes for other popular arists. Kanye, Lupe, Odd Future, etc..

What if Cheef keef fans join instead lol .. and the forum becomes even worse.

A forum dedicated to one of the biggest rap artists can become one of the biggest hip hop forums. With the right promotion and the right sections everything is possible.

Yeah, we'll do it like this... Those who want to bring their name from here to the new forum, should verify to me somehow (like sending PM to me here, or Facebook/whatsapp etc.) that the username that is created on the other forum is them.

It's simple.

First 6 months: Em section, Shady Records section and General HipHop section
After that: TDE section, why? Because Kendrick's album will most likely be out or close to release date, so more Kendrick fans will want to discuss what's happening. Seeing as most of us are fans, we could create a little buzz that would get us up on Google's radar on first page, that way we'll attract Kendrick fans and those will attract TDE fans.

If we succeed, I think we should expand a little more and make a Strange Music section and that's it. No more sections. Why? Because the majority of Em/Tech fans are probably into the same type of music so it kinda makes sense.

I do not encourage making it a general hiphop forum for the get go. We should build a solid Em fan base first.
And if we have an awesome front page, posting new songs and news whether Em related or not I think we'll be able to pull it off.

How can you be so sure that Kendrick fans will join this forum instead of one of the bigger ones ? Like you can promote as much as you want, most Kenny fans are on the coli, ktt and boxden though, and you can ask Lance that too. They will rather go to a forum where there are a lot more members than to a forum which has maybe 200 members overall.

I do agree about it being an Em forum. There are no big Eminem forums on the net, believe it or not. Trshady is one of the biggest ones.

KTT didn't start wit 50k+ members, progressing and going big takes time.

I'd rather gain an active member every week than have the same 30 members insulting each other every day.

I'm not saying that we have to go big immediately. It's not possible too. But Ktt was in the same position we are right now. They had an old forum called Kanyelive if I'm not mistaken. They had issues with the owner not being there so they made a new kanye forum and look where they are now.

I do agree that we should branch out, no doubt, but we should still be an Em forum, with a name that tells you it's about Em, to the core.

I never said anything different. We should still have the hip hop section .. maybe with sub sections like TDE, Young money and especially G.O.O.D music (we have a lot of kanye fans on the forum) and shit like that

Why not just have it like this



Have the main hip hop section where you can post general shit or discussions (doesn't always have to be news)

Then have sub-sections like shady-chit chat and let it be different labels where you can have album discussions and all that shit
