This is the best "Ask Me" thread since the ThomasAguanis one.

Yes, very insightful answers indeed, hopefully this doesn't stay slept on for too long.

Thanks.

Thoughts on Boot Camp Clik/Black Moon/ Enta Da Stage/ Dah Shinin?

Do you feel that Big L's punchlines would evolve with the times to keep up with the newer punchline rappers like Joe Budden, or would he have kept his wordplay relatively simple and focused on his flow, rhyming more?

Or do you think he would have dropped punchlines altogether?

Favorite rap album ever (incase I didn't ask this before)?

Ever plan of moving out of your country or are you there to stay?

Yes, but only The Infamous gets regular plays. I find it a very consistent album and the production is top notch. Shook Ones Pt. 2 is my favorite beat ever.

Enta Da Stage is one of my favorite albums and Who Got Da Props one of my favorite songs. Buckshot was excellent on it and the whole LP is one of the best Hip-Hop albums. I'm not that big of a fan of Dah Shinin', Nocturnal and For The People though.

I think he would have evolved because he was very competitive so I doubt he would have let the punchline crown go.

That's a possibility as well and something I'd have preferred, but I'm not so sure about it.

The Slim Shady LP. And nope, I don't think you have.

I plan on visiting the US each year and spend 2-3 months over there. My job is going to be related with the English language and translating so I'll definitely have the opportunity to accomplish my plans.

He's a dope MC but I like Royce and Crooked more. I can't say that I often listen to him but I've checked out some of his work. I remember bumping Pump It Up when 2 Fast 2 Furious came out. Those were the times!

Big L, Eminem, Lupe, Kanye, Nas, A.G. are my definite top 5. The 2nd half changes more often but the current one goes like this: Kool G Rap, Mos Def, 2Pac, Elzhi, O.C..

Best MC ever. You can read more on that in my first thread - viewtopic.php?f=3&t=111184

Better than Encore but he hasn't had many high points. I love Deja Vu, The Warning and Beautiful but most of the songs have low replay value for me. My biggest problem is his voice/flow which doesn't sound natural especially the infamous shouting on Recovery.

As I said earlier, I'm not familiar with most of you guys but you do come across as cool people. You included.

Can you find any faults in Prime Eminem, that other mcs (Nas, Black Thought, Jay Z, other grade A rappers) excel at but Eminem falls short at?

What do you think of Lowkey/Immortal Technique?

If Hip Hop albums were women what would you describe the following albums as?

illmatic
R2D
SSLP
Reasonable Doubt
LOPD
Me Against The World

i.e. the albums being (blonde haired blue eyes girl, brunettes, etc)

Will you ever branch out to modern post 00 underground Hip Hop, or will 90s Hip Hop always be your favorite?

Thoughts on J Dilla as a producer?

Top five producers?

Not really. I have only noticed that he didn't have some "street"/club bangers. And I'm not referring to songs like In Da Club but something that would get played on an underground Hip-Hop party. Also, producers rarely sample his voice unlike let's say Nas' which can be heard in most scratched hooks.

Another MCs that I have checked out but never cared to listen on the regular. What can I say, they have zero charisma to me, I don't like their voices/flows and why would I accept 100$ if someone else offers me 1000. It's cool if other people like them though, I have nothing against that.

Funny question, but I really don't know. I guess they would have the personality of Michelle Rodriguez but look more like Angelina Jolie.

I don't think so because most artists I check out aren't very unique to me. And I'm sure that the '90s will always be my favorite era.

Extra dope. He's the type that is the favorite producer of your favorite producer. Favorite beats are Fall N Love and Drop.

Premier
Buckwild
Dre
Kanye
Pete Rock.

Is Hip-Hop the only genre you listen to?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years (if you're in college) if you're not, then where do you see yourself in 10 years and would you still be an Eminem fan and still listen to TRSS?

I appreciate the effort but not my cup of tea. You can see my thoughts on IT in my previous post.

Voice and flow are the 2 main things that get me interested/hooked.

Pretty much, yes. As I said earlier, I like other genres as well but it usually comes down to compilations of songs.

I'm in college and I see myself working in some international relationships department in some firm. I also see myself as a well respected rapper in my country.

I will be and The Slim Shady LP will remain my favorite album. I don't listen to that song much actually but I'm sure I'll bump it occasionally.

Feels excellent. I'm glad that you have made a good name for yourself and hence, have made it easier for me. There are many Eminem fans in our country but they don't have shit on us. We're Holdin' It Down!

Have you ever had thoughts of becoming an argumentative asshole?

What turns you away from the Wu tang? Is it cause of how each member has their own idiosyncarcies and they have to work together as a group, whereas DITC for the most part function better as individuals except showbiz and ag?

Worst GOAT candidate Eminem/Nas/Jay z/Biggie?

Do you like 80s Hip Hop as well Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, G rap, or is that too far back for your taste?

Does the girl in my avatar piss you off?

What do you think of My Little Pony?

Do you watch other anime other than DBZ or is that the only show from Japan you watch?

No. I love debates but I'm always respectful.

I'm not into the whole Shaolin/Kung Fu thing.

Biggie.

The production is too outdated for me. I do love G Rap, Rakim, BDK and Masta Ace but I mostly listen to their post 1990 stuff.

I'm too easy going of a person for a picture to piss me off. But I've noticed that you often change your avatar, and I liked some of your other choices more even though I can't say which one in particular.

I despise it.

I used to watch Digimon and Pokemon but I didn't like them as much.

I actually think he's been very consistent. He never was anything extra special but I've always respected him. He was an important figure in Hip-Hop even at an early age, and Radio is a nice album. He has also held his own on tracks with other great MCs and had the best verse on songs like Hit 'Em High.

In your short stint on TR you've become one of the more prominent members on here. How does that make you feel?

Are you into Asian rappers?

What's Macedonia like?

Pete Rock vs. DJ Premier?

Favorite Illmatic song?

Your favorite sample ever?

Feels good, thanks. I've been a Hip-Hop fan for a long time and I'm glad that people respect my opinion.

No. I can only listen to American and Macedonian Hip-Hop. And no disrespect to other languages/accents but I don't feel them as much. Marchelo is an exception though but I can't listen to him very often either.

Worse than Croatia, lol. You guys at least have a sea. Other than that, there are elections going on so everybody is talking about politics and you can't avoid that vibe. And that's a vibe I can't stand so smh.

Premo. He's been part of most Hip-Hop classics and his beats are versatile yet you always know when it's him.

The World Is Yours.

Whatever the sample from the Shook Ones Pt. 2 melody is. I know they finally discovered it not too long ago. I also like the Doors sample that Kanye used for the Takeover.

I did ask you a couple of questions, and definitely intend to post some more. And not because you mentioned it.

I'm more familiar with Diction so I gotta say him. I'm not a fan of this type of questions though :shifty:

I knocked out so many teeth, the Tooth Fairy went bankrupt. And I also like - I was po, I couldn't afford the o-r.

I prefer 2Pac because I like his voice more and he was better at conveying a message. He was also slightly more unique. Outside comparisons, he had a very decent discography with Me Against The World being his best album. He wasn't the best rhymer but his ability to convey emotions is unmatched and that's what separates him from other MCs. I also love the good side of his personality. He was a very smart and charismatic dude, but his thug side sucked and he paid with his life for it. I also hate the conspiracy theories surrounding his death.

Biggie was very unique himself. Ready To Die is one of the best Hip-Hop albums and Life After Death was excellent as well. He was a very good storyteller and his flow was very captivating. I also think that he was a very humble person and all the Pac fans who hate him because of the stupid beef should shoot themselves in the nose.

Fried potatoes.
