Thanks man, alright hear me out on this one

1.You Tube Embedding: It has been a long time since this request was made, but has not been taken care of. If you take a look at THIS thread the solution to the problem has also been suggested. Look into it and implement it with the other changes that you are planning to do.

2.Attachments: I’m tired of seeing the way this takes place. Every time a bigger image is being uploaded it takes up the entire page and makes it look weird as fuck. So, the other day I was looking for some MOD for an old ass game and stumbled upon this, this by far is the best solution to this. By doing this the Attachment will get reduced in size and we can click on it to see the “Preview”. Here’s the Link to that: http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f4 ... -car-style

Scroll down and look at how the Screenshots are displayed, if we can get the attachment's to work like this then it's cool.

3.It Gives Me More Power: As the title says, have a talk with TR & have the Admins more power then they have right now. Like; Changing the Banner and the BG of this place, doing this would ensure regular update and we won’t end up putting up a Banner that doesn’t even belong to that era, already the BME era is over and we are stuck in the Recovery era, lol.

4.Link Of Feed: If you can go back to the last communication that we had, I had enclosed a Link to one of my posts regarding the “LOF” thing, but somehow you didn’t see that, I guess, please go through that post and everything that followed before you make a final decision. Since you’re an Admin we can hope for some serious reactions.

5.Reduce The Use Of Smile’s In One Post(Optional): I’ve seen member use horrifying amount of smile’s in a single post and no constructive comments is being made, doing this once in a while is okay, but always…? If you want you can add this to the Rules Thread. Or ban the smile’s altogether. It’s cool if it’s Backstage but using 5+ in one post in the main Section’s??

6.Online Status Box(Optional): Just a small technical thing that would make one’s Profile look nice, just below the User Name if a small Box is put reading “Online” .This could help in people knowing who all are online in that thread, except the one’s who have their “Online Status” hidden.

7.Newer Ranks: I was wondering if the Ranks could be changed for the following:
In Training
In The Force
Soldier
Captain
Lieutenant
General

Rest are fine, I liked the one’s that Maybe made in this thread.

8.Shady Media: Remove that section and merge it with the main “Eminem” Sec’n, both are pretty much the same and have almost the same threads made.

9.Disable Copy/Screenshots: If you take a look at THIS thread, I made a suggestion and it was done justice to an extent. But people (Non- Registered) can still see that section when they click on “View New Topics”, which leads to the same situation. If we can disable “Copy by selection/Screenshots” then we can prevent theft of creative material.

10.Reduce The Post Approval: I think 5 is enough, this way new members can PM and post faster in threads.

11.Rest of the points that I’ve already mentioned already in my earlier post.


*Post Deletion: I know that this is not that important but, next time if someone from the Staff deletes a members post(s), then please inform them because they might think that hey have done something wrong. Let me put my own example: I remember that I had 6000 Posts (rough figures) one day and the other day when I saw, it was 5888 (rough figures), I don’t give a damn about “Post Counts” but that confused me and forced me to think as to what had I done, then I realized that my posts from the “RB Tourney” were deleted, in fact the whole thread was deleted.

alright guys, here it goes, I'm gonna do the changes in a little bit.
now, note this:

1.-ALL THE FORUM PROGRAMING CHANGES CAN NOT BE DONE BY ANYONE EXCEPT TR HIMSELF. so the banner, the embedding and stuff like that is not possible until the owner decides to do so.

2.- IF MORE PEOPLE REQUEST IT THEN YES, WE CAN REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF SMILIES PERMITTED IN ONE POST (I'm gonna reduce it a little bit anyways for broadband issues)

3.- THE POST APPROVAL WILL NOT BE REDUCED. its 10. (for many many reasons) but dont worry, there's always a moderator online for what I've seen so posts will be approved faster. I am also gonna make a thing for the staff to control the workflow and all that administrative crap so no worries.

4.- about the first two points. I will try to figure out the quick reply which doesn;t seem to be working and the PM box will not change, however it will be Increased

5.- other small changes will be done around the forum

What about the background thingy? have you ever visited KTT? It'd be great to have something like that.
Like imagine, if someone is in BME mood, they'll be able to have a BME background and so on...

I think having a BG like that would be cool, but at the same time may posse a problem to those who have a weak "Internet Connection".

That cannot be done unless TR puts this forum's database out on the internet for us to log in to, so we can change this and that. Currently only he has access to it, and it's gonna stay that way for security reasons.

it's a shame because all the forums add that now it makes the site more attractive and most of the members like it.

it was not the question but put hidden Backstage to the guests will be a good idea don't need everyone see our private things and more members online.

and in the future the main activity of Eminem will be only to produce perhaps put all the forums in one forum Shady with just a sub-forum "eminem news"and a shady chit-chat hidden.
