I don't listen to that much foreign Hip Hop other than Nujabes and he's a producer.
I used to spin Jin and listen to a littlle bit of Dumbfoundead, but for the most part I'm not too keen on Asian rappers.
VenomBlackViper or Genocide ?
If you meant the member Geno, than VBV, pretty easily too. He has a distinct personality that's hilarious, though he scares me at times.
You think Tech N9ne raps 80% of the time about nothing ?
I don't recall ever saying this.
Lord Finesse or Ol' Dirty Bastard ?
ODB is a fallen legend and is one of the few rappers that don't get fellated or really benefitted from death hype that rappers like Big L, Big Pun, Biggie, Pac, and to a lesser extent Eazy E garnered. The only time I really see him being brought up is among Wu fans, he had this distinct rapping style that was unlike any other, when he was still alive and was quite the character.
However Lord Finesse is quite possibly the most underrated mc of all time, who had a solid 3 album run, that no one ever brings up. He was the king of punchlines during his time, and was Big L's mentor. Though you can say Big L took what Finesse taught him and expanded, at times I prefer to listen to Finesse. He has such a butter smooth flow, and has one of the most unique voices in rap. Plus he's a decent producer, so Finesse I guess.
RZA's beats or Kanye West's beats ?
Hmm, Rza's output from 94-97 was unfuckwithable, and produced some of the best Hip Hop albums of all time. OB4CL, Return of the 36 chambers, Liquid Swords.
I'll run down the list, Liquid Swords had such a cinematic feel that put you in the spot and made you feel like you were in the middle of snowy blizzard, it was just so atmospheric. A quintessential Noir sound that East was reknowned for during the mid 90s.
Again another cinematic album, that defines Mafioso, and was the when the subgenre was at it's peak. Simple loops (Ice Cream) that were just so fucking catchy while some hit the apex of the hardcore sound. It's an amorphous feeling that I can't describe and you just have to be there to hear it yourself, many newer producers tried replicating the sound of the mid 90s (ala Pete Rock, Premier, Rza) but to no avail. You should have used that as an argument when debating class, tbh.
Return of the 36 chambers is a different feeling altogether, here he captures the basic sound of being messy and scatterbrained, which fits ODB perfectly. One of the rawest sounding albums out there, and gives me a similar feeling when listening to Noise music actually.
Kanye's great however and broke free of the cookie cutter soul sound with his debut, which is unique and welcome.
I also hold MBDTF in high esteem for it's production (though there are other reasons). Quite frankly it's one of the best produced albums of our time, and everything is completely layered that you wouldn't even think about catching everything in your initial spin. To put it simply Eminem goes over people's heads with his hidden rhymes, Kanye however does this with his production.
What do you hate about Bleach ?
Because Zephos hate it.
I don't like it because it has piss poor art, no coherent story, hell the filler is better than the manga, and is filled to the brim with bishies.
It was decent up until and during the Soul Society arc, after than it spiraled down in quality and is never shoveling itself from all the shit and piss that it flooded itself with.
95 percent of the chapters are comprised of dull bullshit that people only tune into for the action sequence (which are horribly drawn btw), it's a giant mass of gray, and rarely does it ever surprise us in quality.
It's filled with stale plot arcs that have been largely smothered by horrible new ones characterized by godawful characters
Not to mention Aizen is the most bland character in existance and the hugest faggot ever. I despite that cunt.
Though if it makes you feel any better, I believe the avatar I had about aday or two back with the orange haired girl and gaping eyeballs was a distorted fan drawing of Orihime, *shrugs*.
Is One Piece as interesting as it was ? (It got boring for me recently, spent 3 months without reading a new manga)
Definitely, it went through a time skip recently and the crew got back together. Though I'm not up to the part, but the difference between OP and Naruto/Bleach, is that Oda actually plans ahead, he doesn't just pull stale plotlines out off his ass like a magician.
It was originally supposed to only last five years, but he expanded on it, every character is carefully set into the story and has their own unique purpose and isn't just eye candy. Not to mention the detailed thriving world, and isn't just about Luffy, but every straw hat gets developement, unlike Bleach or Naruto where it's only the Orange haired/Blonde haired doofuses and his man love Sasuke that gets all the attention.
Sports you like ?
I don't really watch any, but I like to play football (American) and Basketball, though I'm just average at them.
