EDIT: Bro Sam you need to chill. Who gives a fuck if Tuna or someone else you wanted to be VET isn't a VET? I doubt they really care man. I WILL agree with you on the point about Amar tho, how she got the G-Mod status cuz she's good friends with the other staff (it's truuu *2 Chainz voice*).

But who cares man? Just enjoy the forum dude, you're just missing out on one secret section, and it's not even that great anyways.

Why won't you just realize nobody likes you?

I hurt your boyfriend Menzo.

Now you tryna come at me.

My question is why do you keep bringing up Ye? Me liking a specific artist has nothing to do with anything? Matter of fact I'm really fond of Cudi right now lol.

I'm not trying to "fit in" with anyone. Why do you people constantly say this? This isn't a 80's high school sitcom, wth. It's an internet forum where I just express my views.

And I brought up the artists cuz you continuously hop between their fanbases on this forum trying to fit in. But none of them care about your opinion so you resort to trolling and starting drama.

Smh.

I haven't started any "drama" since that dumb "Best Rap Artist" competition.

I don't see how I constantly hop between fanbases? Is it because I had a Kanye avy or something? Lol you guys act like you can only like one artist on this forum.

I think you're just pulling stuff out your ass, man. :coffee:

EDIT: Sorry Slim, for derailing the shit outta this thread. :b:

I'm not gonna lie I mostly read the stuff about me, Block's verse, the vet paragraph, and TDKR review. I should have read it all but I'm too much of a lazy whore, and yes I did get here by searching my name if anyone's curious (which I used to scoff at when I was still active) and TDKR review because I personally didn't think it was all that. It may not be proper etiquette and probably not the thread but I felt they introduced too many characters and it was an overall mess without much sense of what they were doing, characters all over the place; hell you can make a case for John Blake being the main character rather than Bruce. Bane had an introduction that rivaled the Joker's and I liked Nolan's/Hardy's interpretation of Bane in a ultra realistic (okay not really) Gotham verse, the dude was intimidating he broke the Bats... only to have him rise up (heh) out of his misfortune and somehow meet the world's greatest chiropractor in some ditch. Also Bats' predicament was completely predictable and just plain unrealistic, and what the hell was up with him flying to Gotham like it ain't no thang after climbing out of that rathole and somehow infiltrating his way into that highly fortified city without any opposition that was just damn lazy and it would have been interesting to see how he made it there. It felt like it didn't have any overall cohesion and the sequences were just sloppily pasted together as the director went along, and let's not even get into Bane's comeuppance which was hilarious for all the wrong reasons and is the textbook definition of anticlimactic. It sounds like I hate the movie but I don't I'd probably watch it again once it comes out in THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY BOX SET DELUXE EDITION but for now it was an decent-good movie I guess.

Giant cosign on your learn to learn post, that's something that a lot of us would benefit from is figuring out what type of learners we are in the first place visual, auditory, etc. Not everyone functions well in the classroom and it particularly favors left brained people, I'm mostly self-taught. Use the internet to your advantage there shouldn't be any reason why you can't unless you live in North Korea or Vietnam, and take online quizzes and shit that interest you.

I appreciate your section devoted to me, even though I'm completely out of touch with Hip Hop nowadays and need to reacquaint myself with the genre, I've been dabbling (and I use that loosely) in rock dling classic albums among other shit. I'll probably start listening to some more modern acts again since I took a huge break from it since like late 2011, I know who the famous acts are and who's popular but I haven't listened to that many artists since. And this is a bit petty lol, but I'd like to clarify that I'm not an anime fan. Mostly cause of how much shit floods the industry and it's almost embarrasing being associated with it, obviously there's a lot of great stuff even though you'll mostly find it in the older stuff. I know mostly brought it upon myself, but I'm more of a manga fan (Berserk, Akira, Monster, Vagabond, etc.) which I find to be entertaining pieces of art that people who aren't even fan of comics/animation should at least give a try since I feel they transcend their medium.

And lastly I'd vote for you as vet if the option to vote is still available, but seeing as Hesky already has a blue name, I'll assume no (nothing against the guy I think he's cool). Personally I thought you were vet material since before you started making these helpful threads (your tutorial on how to rap), but since you made them you've become a prime candidate for it. It's not just cause we're chill with each other, I mean unless seniority determines how eligible you are than I don't see why you aren't one yet. Since it's obvious you care about this site, make good posts, have a friendly disposition (as opposed to my snide demeanor), and are intelligent. To be honest lots of people deserve vet status who don't have it and probably never will, I don't know why though. Which is fucking retarded, and no I don't mean Satire or VBV, I mean Amadeo or Eminsider, hell I'm not a fan of Embase but he should probably be one if only cause of how embedded he is in this forum (take that as good or bad). I aplogize if it seemed like I selectively read and come of as a lazy whore, I however don't redact my statements earlier even if it depicts my post as a whiny scrambling mess.

@dead prez - Nah man, that was a great read, and thank you for putting more thought into your feedback. And excuse me for not addressing everything in this replay of mine, but I appreciate what you said about me, and you respected me ever since I signed up, so that means a lot as well! I don't mind your criticism of the Dark Knight Rises, and it's good to see some other point of view given that most people praise it, and I know that you're not just hating on it or something. And just a random question, and you don't need to go in depth, but which trilogy do you think is better, the Batman one or LotR? I know it's not really a compatible comparison, but was just wondering. And excuse me for the anime stuff, I guess I got that wrong, haha. But at least you cleared it up. Cheers!
