its not a "slant rhyme"

its assonence (sp?) rhyming...rakim started it...rakim does it more than any other artist...stfu

''Dead in the middle of little Italy, little did we know that we riddled two middle men who didn't do diddily." - Big Pun

That's assonance.

''Automatic
Start to Panic''

That's a slant rhyme, since you stress out the consonants of the words.

aint that the same ?

assonance, is rhyming the vowels right ? in a easy way to understand it.

so automatic / start to panic

makes the vowels in the same place of each sylyble in each word.

dude we look into shit too much but meh, i thought that was the jist of it

Actually yes.

And you say, direct rhyme. I never said direct rhyme, I said slant rhyme. Why are you trying to make it look as though I said it was a direct rhyme? And yes damn quick rhymes with magic.

And my other proof that I'm right? Oh what's that, 15 votes against 3.

It may not rhyme "traditionally", but when you rap it it rhymes like a motherfucker dude.

I don't know what kind of accent you have if you say it out loud and it doesn't rhyme... :confusion:
