How do you think FreeSpeech vs. Block is going to play out in the Sadistik's The Balancing Act thread.

Depends, I reckon he's going to smack the shit out of him if he really wants too, but I don't think an argument is going to emerge in that thread.

I agree with the gist of Block's post, but not towards Sadistik, his but music in general, this forum is too boxed in, as in they find their comfort zone and can rarely venture out off it. If they happen to wander upon a rapper who deviates from norms, I can guarantee a good portion will write X rapper off as pretentious or speaking in babble.

i.e. if we're discussing artists like MF Doom/Busdriver, other experimental artists, I can bet that most would just write them off on the spot, because of how unorthodox their style is.

I assume you expect a long drawn out explanation on why I prefer said rappers over the others?

Why did you say that Chino was better than Royce in this thread but then you listed 10 rappers in that "10 rappers you don't want to listen to" thread including Royce & Chino XL and went on to say they're all "decent, I guess" except for Chino and that you "fucking hate him"? It makes no sense.

Explain yourself, mister.

Your top 10 favorite albums of all time?

Have you listened to any of Del's post-2008 albums?

If yes, what's the best one?

My hate for Chino Xl is moreso on objective reasoning, meaning that I think he's a horrendous rapper, that lot's of people like to overhype like some sort of lyrical messiah, when he has a shit ton of corny ass punchlines that are on par with Em's on Recovery or even Lil Wayne's, the fact that he bases a good portion of his style around punchlines doesn't help his case, not to mention I'm not a huge fan of punchline artists to begin with (I like Big L and Celph Titled though). Add in his voice which sounds like his balls haven't dropped yet (though he's a steroid up motherfucker so who knows), and choppy flow and there you have it.

I will credit him for pioneering the whole celebrity bashing that Eminem took after, though Eminem did it with much more tact, but that's it really.

I don't HATE Royce, I exaggerate a good portion of my posts towards him, in all honesty, he's alright I guess. I only listened to a few songs other than DIC, and I haven't exactly listened to it like I would listen to Lupe, meaning that I only listened to it, so I can add it under my belt as albums I that I listened too. He has skill I guess, I just find him utterly boring and lifeless as an mc, but I'm not telling you why I hated him in the 1st place or why I tend to overexaggerate my hate for his music.

Hmm, this is though, I never really thought about it, but I guess...

The Infamous-Mobb Deep
Supreme Clientele-Ghostface
Deltron 3030-Deltron 3030
illmatic-Nas
Blazing Arrow-Blackalicious
Metaphorical Music-Nujabes
F&L-Lupe Fiasco
Illadelph Halflife-The Roots
Word Life-O.C.
MBDTF-Kanye West

I'm loving Madvillain btw, and am getting obssessed with MF Doom.

No, I should though.

What do you think of Lupe's statement on Obama?

Do you think that Watch The Throne will be better than Hell: The Sequel?

Rappers you have seen perform in live?

Do you play any sports?

He's actually kind of drifting away, though I still love F&L, right now I'm loving Gift of Gab (Blazing Arrow) and Del on Deltron 3030. If you mean mcs that I'm checking out right now, who may potentially sneak into my top 10 than, MF Doom and Busdriver are climbing up that spot. (Madvillainy is awesome)

What's Busdriver's best album?

Zephos says Temporary Forever, though I like Fear of a Black Tangent the most.

This song is great, and I love the hook.
