I haven't watched The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy since it came out in theatres, lol. So it's not really my place to judge, however I do remember it being a visceral experience at least. I will say I'm not a fan of a lot of book adaptations unless they completely diverge from the main source and do something unique (Apocalypse Now) or use said medium's (films) potential to it's fullest rather than just rehashing the same shit from the source material which makes it a glorified abridged version in some cases, this mostly stems from recently watching Watchmen after reading the comic and seeing how much shit is just rehashed and it was literally a bloated glossy version of the comic that doesn't understand minimalism plus it missed the point of the comic by giving said protaganists spiderman level strength, unnecessary violence, making the mystery from the start extremely obvious etc. Now I know not all adaptations are bad and some are as good if not better than the source material, A Clock Work Orange. Sorry for drifting, but the Dark Knight Trilogy isn't really an adaptation of anything it just uses characters from the dc universe with it's own unique tale, and because of that it's not restricted by anything at all. It was just Nolan making the batman universe more realistic, and interpreting the villains in his own way, Joker, Bane, Scare Crow. You can make the case that TDKR has elements of Dark Knight Returns but again it's not limited by being based on anyone book and because of that the creator has way more freedom with his universe. Begins was flawed but great and at least erased Batman from the awful Batman and Robin nonsense that it was associated with, The Dark Knight was also good but The Joker was definitely the star, and I like that Bane was cast as the "main" villain if only cause he erases that godawful bane from batman and robin, so there's that. I do think it's a solid and really good trilogy (better than spiderman) and one could make a decent case that's it's one of the best trilogies in movies (I don't think it is but whatever).

Aand the anime shit was my fault, I kinda brought that upon myself. Having anime avys, recommending LOTGH to watch, among other shit, so I should have clarified earlier. lol

That was a good way to summarize it, and I understand what you mean with the Batman adaptation. And excuse me again for having a short replay, but it's 1:30 am over here and I'm feeling sleepy, haha. In fact, I'm about to log out, but it's been great to read your thoughts after you've been gone for a while. See if you leave something more around the forum, so I can check it out tomorrow. Peace!

I'm sorry Menzo that I can't fit in a fuckin internet forum like you and be a complete loser. Shit, I'm such an outcast to this "society" that you watch over - like Amadeo said - Officer Dipshit. Quit acting like you're better than the rest of the just because of your G-Mod status, you're a pathetic waste, a pointless breathing being on this beautiful Earth. I can't fucking like Kanye? Stfu, you sound so fucking childish with that "super-queero" shit. You just try and hate on me because I speak the TRUTH. And I know how much you faggots talk shit in the VET section, it's pretty obvious you only choose those who YOU DON'T TALK SHIT ABOUT to become VETs. I didn't even bother to read that whole essay you typed out because I'm sure it's full of insults you find so fucking powerful and hurtful. Reality check dude, the only person that actually likes you and appreciates your presence on this forum is... wait for it... GENO. But that's because he's your cocksucking boyfriend.

I also really liked how you guys decided to give me a 2 week ban just for having KanyeToThe.com in my sig. I read the rules, IN NO WAY was I advertising the site. I just said "I'm Exile on KanyeToThe.com, get at me." I NEVER said "Hey come join KTT!" So eat a motherfucking dick you loser. You say I don't fit it, who gives a flying fuck?! You think fucking name, Almost, Amadeo, EminemInsider, or even dead prez give a shit about "fitting in?" There's a reason they're so different and rare because they don't wanna be apart of the brainless sheep on TR that just follow whatever you or Geno say. I honestly don't even hate Geno, I have nothing against the dude. It's just YOU that gets on my nerves.

I don't care anymore, but you need to be de-modded. This forum won't be any better with your lousy ass just running around. "OH THAT'S BULLSHIT, DUDE, WELCOME TO OUR HOUSE IS GONNA BLOW CRUEL SUMMER OUT DA WATERZ!!! HURRR DURR" - Officer Menzo waving around his "I'm an elite hip-hop expert" badge.

Fuck you, I'll enjoy Kanye all I want. I'll enjoy Pusha, Cudi, 2 Chainz, Drake, Weezy, Rick Ross, "COMMERCIAL RAPPERS" as you would all say.

I apologize SlimFiasco. I didn't mean to disrupt the thread like this. This fuckin fruit just had to come in here trying to argue with me like always.

Who are these few?

Great, everything has been said. Now please stay on topic guys, I don't mean to interrupt you or anything but it's really a bad idea to ruin Slim Fiasco's great thread/magazines.

Keep it for later if y'all want.

Much respect. I think this would be a hard thing to put together and organize; or at least really time consuming. You have my respect! :y: :y:

If someone falls to a level, you shouldn't fall below that. And, Menzo, you just did that. It was not needed, and wasn't deliberate from your part. But you know at what level Blu is. Why even go for that block of text?

Yes, sir. Well, 19,000 and no shout outs? :P

On TOPIC!!

You should do a joint interview with two members exchanging thoughts. I'm down for that.

But, how would you do that? With names and individual messages? That would be very long, and might get subjected to tl:dr, nahimean?

I can't imagine it would be any different than a normal shout out thread, except that it's included in the magazine. I don't see any reason to abridge it or change anything.

But of course, Geno has to ask Fiasco first.
