Here's an idea:

Let's call it a "TR Bailout" of sorts.
Un-ban everyone who was previously banned, and give them a second chance.
If they cause trouble after being warned the 3rd or 2nd or however many times it is, ban them again and forget they ever came back.

I personally got no problem with Sticcy, but thanks to this thread he has now become the poster boy for idiots on TR who break the rules. Going back on bans is more than a personal situation; it compromises the integrity of the entire forum.

Maybe banning someone permanently isn't the right thing to do, and the system should be changed. How about warn them like now, but only ban them for up to 1 month depending on what they did, and if it happens again than permanently ban them.
