The Animal Cruelty In Farms

, I just feel that our culture pretty much values dog/cats' lives (pets basically) in higher esteem than other animals, ala hunting deer just for the thrill of hunting without provocation isn't deemed anywhere near as bad as some random schmuck killing a stray cat just for the sake of it.

I understand simply killing and eating the animals because thats just the natural order of life. Animals eat other animals but even the most "hardcore" meateaters have gotta admitt that torturing the animals is terrible.
