Mutual respect. We both have similar feelings regarding current Eminem and realise neither of us are complete fucking morons.

Killahbee agree with this statement, and thinks he's better than Nas in every conceivable way.

I know, that's part of what prompted the question.

If you want, I could anwser as to why I have this opinion in the HHD if you're genuinely interested :y:

the only thing I think Nas has over Pharaohe is storytelling and possibly concepts, though even they're close for me

@ Mike: What's your favourite genre outside of hip hop?

What striker (or a player in any other position) would you like to see Newcastle sign in the summer?

I listen to very little outside of hip-hop. I like some soul/old R n B (Marvin Gaye etc) so probably that.

Realistically, Gervinho, who we've been linked with for agess. He'll probably go to someone better but there are so many reports from France saying we've got him. He's a wide midfielder but is pretty versatile and has an amazing goal record.

Class has a thread stating Sadistik rhymes better than Eminem, he also thinks it's the case with prime Eminem. Would you agree or disagree with Class?

What do you think of The Reunion and who had the better verses? Why?

Do you think that current Eminem can make an album that matches his first 3 if he REALLY put effort and had the motivation and flowed well with a good delivery? Or do you think he CAN'T be as good?

If you could do ONE thing to improve this forum, what would you do?

I'd disagree that Sadistik is a better rhymer than prime-Eminem. I could see an argument that Sadistik's rhymes are more creative, but prime-Em made his rhymes so effortless that you could hear verses from him (most notably on SSLP) and it would seem as if the rhymes had happened by accident - they were so crisp.

RKOunion wrote:What do you think of The Reunion and who had the better verses? Why?

I thought it was the high point of an average EP, mainly because it showed some creativity (the women hate was finally done in a creative way) and Em used a calm, smooth voice which emphasised his actions so much better than if he had screamed it. It still had sloppy moments in terms of his lyricism, but it's enjoyable. I'd say Em had the better verses, his storytelling was smoother, rhyming was more effortless and he had the funnier moments

I don't think he can be as good. He just doesn't have that creative spark anymore. There are times when you think he could (Deja Vu) but it seems to only really happen when he needs to get something of his chest.

If you could do ONE thing to improve this forum, what would you do?

Ban members that add fuck all to debate.

No. Everytime someone has an "intitution" it's either a lucky guess or contains some sort of prior knowledge.

I've heard of Gervinho, apparently him and Hazzard have being ripping up Ligue 1 for Lille in the last year or so, and I heard Newcastle could get him for around £6-£8 million, would be a steal at that price. If that fails, I think Demba Ba would be quality signing for your side :y:

Aside from Lowkey, who's your favourite upincoming emcee?

Yeah, Hazard, Gameiro and Gervinho have been unreal. Would be, although apprently Man City are now interested, along with Arsenal, so it's get less likely, especially at that price. Man City will probably bid something stupid.

I really need to listen to more up and coming rappers. I think that Kendrick Lamar guy is pretty exciting (I'm assuming he's up and coming, I know little about him outisde a few songs)

Meant to be getting round to him, but never have. Any album/mixtape you'd recommend?

Wow, either Henry or Zidane. Currently, Cheik Tiote

Used to play seriously (was actaully pretty good), just play for fun now. Left midfield/striker

I never got into Lemons, just bored me. But I liked You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having - such a coherent well put together album. I need to listen through it again to give a proper breakdown though.
