Class says abrasive things that will attract attention from time to time. Macdaddy says abrasive things with the intention of attracting attention.

Kind of like a child that misbehaves. All of the time. It's the only way the kid can get the attention that it craves. See, Macdaddy was once a member that wasn't looked at as a total joke. This guy was a contributing member, that said things that people didn't always agree with, but he didn't do it for attention.

The problem is that he started getting some attention for his crazy things. He then started trying to continue receiving it by posting variations on the same basic theme, and after a while it lost effect. He then realized that the only way to get attention was to be a parody of what he once was.

He saw how much attention the trolls and idiots got, and--despite the fact that it was negative--decided that he preferred that over falling into obscurity. It's sad, because now he doesn't really say anything that isn't all that predictable. It still gets attention because of how ridiculous it is, but it's all very predictable.

You're all virgins. You're gay. I fuck tons of bitches. More bitches than you do. Because you're gay, and I'm not. I'm really not gay and/or a virgin. You're just jealous. Because you're a virgin and I'm not...

So on and so forth. It doesn't have to be that way though, Macdaddy. A lot of attention is paid to herpes too, but that doesn't mean that you should become a genital wart. The idea is to get recognition based on actual merit.

That wasn't meant to be on some "shot's fired" type of shit.

He knows what he does. I'm just saying he doesn't have to do that. If stopped trying so hard for attention, he could probably be a worthwhile member here. His posting style was funny before it became so tired and predictable.

My point is, don't saturate your posts with shit like that. Just be a regular member, and add your own style to the posts. After awhile, people recognize you for positive reasons, not because you're offensive for the sake of being offensive.

It's just sort of sad, I think. I don't know, maybe he really does want to be like that, but I don't think so. It's just a matter of wanting attention.

Sox is a great example of what a controversial member should be. He did his trolling, sure. He'd say things that would get people riled up all of the time. But he was subtle about it. You notice that despite the fact that he is considered one of the best to do it, he isn't on here making troll threads left and right for the attention. He doesn't do it for that. He does it because that's how he posts.
