Star does not rhyme with awh

I don't understand how that is being disputed

Mat does not rhyme with pan

I also don't understand how that can be disputed.

The only way to rhyme this is changing the pronunciation and forcing it.

Everyone has an accent... Every American has an accent. There isn't one general American way of pronouncing words.

And Star does rhyme with awh. Especially when you pronounce it in the same breath as 'to panic'. Mat and pan don't rhyme no, but matic and panic do rhyme.

If pan and matt don't rhyme then matic and panic don't rhyme. It's the same sound.

And star does not rhyme with awh, you would have to pronounce it as staur, which would be wrong

Copywrite - "Tic Toc"

Meet at the camp side as I burn my advance
On the curb by the branch till it burns right to ash
Booked to the future but learned by my past

Curb by the branch doesn't rhyme with burns right to ash...

Of course they do... They don't need to rely on the first part of the word to actually rhyme with each other.

See, again, you're over enunciating the words. Even when you try to pinpoint the rhyming sounds. Words don't need to be exact rhymes, hell, almost nobody in rap (or poetry for that matter) uses exact rhymes. It's about the overal melody of the rhyme, the way it flows. Automatic and star to panic flow perfectly.

Gee, you're welcome, buddy. You can definitely see what he was going for.

There's no way you can deny the rhyme there.

Um, yes, they are. It's called a "short A sound."

Examples:

land
cat
rat
sat
scam
brag
map
gadget

Land rhymes with scam

cat, rat, sat, brag, map and gadge all rhyme with each other

I'm not under enunciating anything, if I did, it would've been a slant rhyme. I'm pronouncing them as they should be pronounced. Are you seriously trying to discredit the fact that 'automatic' and 'start to panic' are melody wise a perfect rhyme?

I don't know what you mean by melody wise but I'm saying automatic and start to panic do not rhyme.
