Ok so yesterday I turned the channel to BET, just to kinda see how terrible shit has gotten since I last watched 106&park. (This is a show where they show the top 10 popular music videos with a shitload of filler) But todays episode was freestyle friday. where they have to un signed emcees and they battle in 2 30 second rounds. The defemding champion was this guy artisan, kinda your typical black dude speakin with a god awful accent and wearin alot of fake jewelery. The contender was a sorta chubby white dude named Complex. I recognized him and looked him up. He battled on Grindtime against Real Deal, so I figured dude could spit. So the battle start and Complex murders this guy straight outta the gate. He has some nasty lines such as "yo BET thanks for lettin the real 'artist in' as in artisan. Was dope lol the little black dude hostin went crazy for it. And then he said the other dude would make a bunch of fat jokes and say he looked like fat Joe(which he did) Artisan comes out tryin to pump out the crowd and makes a bunch of half ass fat jokes.. First line is a Fat Joe joke lmao 2nd round Complex comes out even better with alot of personals and starts breakin down Artisan like 'ya nose is so big ya takin up all my oxygen' and all that. So I've been watchin rap battles for awhile now, I now when its a rap. Artisan comes out spittin a WACK verse. like im sittin here laughin at how wack this is. But the crowd is lovin it. the 3 judges are basically all black dudes that work for the source magazine. All three said the champion won. GET THE FUCK OUTTA HEAR

I've seen Artisan on youtube, he batteled this kid called Nov. For real, Artisan CANNOT RAP. People these days...

Typical. It's because the chubby white dude isn't aesthetically pleasing. He won't attract enough nigg viewers to the show. Even though he murdered the dude, they won't give it to him because of that. Then again, if the nig went to GT he'd get slaughtered so I guess it's a fair trade. GT > that shit anyhow. Even though I still think they should have a DJ and instrumentals on GT. The whole yelling and off-beat style is ridiculous and sounds retarded.
