That is like £1.32 here

The minimum wage in the UK =

£5.93 (21+)
£4.92 (18-20)

You are being ripped off man, there is no way I would work for £1.32 an hour.

You guys forget that the purchasing-power is way lower over there than over here (the western world). You could probably buy as much as you do over here, or even more.

Good luck with your job, though. I've been a waiter for a couple of months, it can be a good job.. depends on you, though, and if the work environment is good.
