I'm having this problem lately. It's been gradually building ever since the Chit-Chat era, and now it's just out of control but...fuck it.

I can't tell who is trolling and who is just an idiot anymore. Every time I look at an idiotic post, I just say "too obvious", and then they come back and actually start arguing their point and even then I'm still telling myself that no one can be THAT stupid. When I first saw Mahmoud I thought he was just a fucking idiot (When is he due back, btw?), then I thought he was a petty troll, until I finally came into the realization that he's actually both.

Another example would be One Mic. It's obvious he has atleast an averagely reasonable mind, but some of the shit he says is in a WHOLE OTHER REAAALMMMMM of fucking fuckotically fucktarded, and I'm starting to believe that he doesn't actually like Giggs, he doesn't think that Rhyme Asylum are appealing to the mainstream, he doesn't believe that lyrics are for "nerd rappers" even though he's ironically named after one of the best songs of one of the best lyricists of the 90's, he doesn't continuously sway back and forth between his opinions and constantly contradict himself, no. Sometimes I believe that he's just a very well played out troll.

Same with Lil' B & Rebecca Black. I still believe Lil' B is a troll, and at first listen I thought Rebecca was hilarious me of radio-based pop music because of the rapper bit at the end. The thin line between idiot and comedian is so distorted on the internet. I don't know, maybe I'm setting the bar of society way too high. Maybe we really ARE that retarded, and maybe we really ARE slowly turning into Idiocracy (starring classthe_king).

Does anyone else feel the same way?

Dude I feel the exact same way, when I was trolling hard on this forum and LWHQ I started seeing trolls everywhere, I couldn't see the difference between trolls and idiots, they were the same thing.

Real trolling isn't done on forums.

One of the funniest trolls I've ever seen was before 4chan started actively trolling mormon.com, and an anon had a huge convo with one of their representatives that lasted for hours. Asking how to become mormon, making up a huge back story, etc. At the end of it he asked how magnets worked. (which is now a meme which originate from ICP). The whole story and convo was amazing. That's trolling; making a person, or group of people, believe something absurd and then mindfuck them to the point their cerebellum is permenantly inseminated.


Forum trolling takes no skill, but it's still fun when idiots get worked up and believe it. (Amadeo and Insider, for instance) lol

I'm in the game since 10 years, I've seen (and also done) almost everything on forums. So all the attempts on here are nothing new to me. I'm not participating that much cuz I don't want to repeat all the shit. So my main interest on here will forever and ever be the Eminem section. The new generations can't fuck with real legends like me who made the Internet big. It's not even their fault, it's just they were born later.

Yeah, nice example. You know, I'm not saying Satire is a bad member, at least he cares about TRShady and he provides a lot of topics. But what kind of topics does he open? Are they dope, epic, really funny? Probably 80-90 % of them are quite trashy. I would have never ever opened threads like that in my career (at the most at my beginning, as a noob). He tries to act like a chick, but not even in a great and satirical form. It's not entertaining reading this shit. I like more elite stuff, great members with great personalities. Not that childish shit.
