A shit poster can make 1 half decent post that doesn't make them look like shit. And if that happens to be the first and only post you see of theirs, then you're obliged to think he's okay at posting.

A rep system would be a horrible way of judging who's a good poster and who's not...someone like me who trolls the Eminem section would be neg repped by all the stans, I would be all red, but I'm a good poster.
