Am I Going To Jail?

about a month ago i accidently overdrafted with my bank card, i currently owe them $150,

I was making plans to pay them and then i lost my job, i have no money and no way to make payments and they call every fuckin day, could i end up in jail cuz of an overdraft fee?

if it's on a state to state law basis, i live in Florida,

I don't wanna be mindin my own business and suddenly be in the back of a police caranytime soon, i'v been lookin hard for a job to,

Lol. No. I was a teller and if people went to jail for not paying overdraft fees, we'd have no customers left, lol. Talk to your bank. Sometimes they can put you on a freshstart program where you make payments toward your negative balance while still being able to keep your checking account. I worked in a credit union, so I'm not sure if banks are the same in terms of that type of program, but it's worth a shot. But do let your bank know that you're about to pay. The teller can put a note in your account so it doesn't get closed and sent to ChexSystems. And be nice to the teller, because we could also write evil shit about you too. Most of my downtime was spent laughing at some of the notes that were put on accounts.
