He said a lot of the sounds reminded him of the later works of The Isley Brothers. I played him Keisha's song first, and he ended up listening to about 6. He kept saying how he had to get lil' homie on a song. So there you have it boys and girls, if you see a Kendrick and Ziggy or any Marley brother collabo anytime soon, it was all my work. I need a cut out of it.
So you flew to nyc, went to work, then flew back to aussie?

Was at Webstar Hall and the DJ pulls up and says we got some brand new Nas tonight, and I'm thinking they were gonna play Nasty, and he drops it and says it's Ghetto Dreams with Common and the entire club just got shook beyond belief! Ended up playing it 4 times in a row. I felt like I was back in the Tunnel when the entire place started chanting "Esco, Esco, Esco".
Love it!
So you Hung out at Webster Hall, then flew back to Australia

For the people who still know he exists down here, that's where quite a bit of the bad feelings toward him stem from where he does nothing but talk repetitive shit about how Biggie thought he was great and how he's a legend, it's so ego driven and cringe worthy. After the Mayweather incident, Combat Jack went in him a little and called him the original JaMarcus Russell, and that name has stuck since.
He got ambushed with all types of objects a few years a go at the Kool G concert because he was opening for him and he barely did any music, rather talking garbage and said some things that got on peoples nerves. So he had to get escorted out of there otherwise he would have dropped.
RA is right about the NY rap concert scene though, that's happened for years when the audience isn't appreciative of wack rappers. For what its worth, I was going to Summer Jam today just to do that to the lineup they have today (Wayne, Drake, Ross, Khaled, Waka, Wiz) because it's completely anti-NY hip hop and a disgrace to Summer Jam. Summer Jam has a history of this, where there's a somewhat secret movement of fans who decide to boo the fuck out of artists. It happened to Nelly because of his KRS beef in 2002, it happened to R.Kelly because 50 told the crowd to do so, it happened to T-Pain a few years a go because of Hov and so forth. Plus there were some rumors that 50's Summer Jam ban was up, but I got a good offer for my ticket and I gave it up. I've already heard from people there though that Waka's set was destroyed with boo's and "fuck off" chants.
You had a ticket to summer jam, yet live in Australia

"Except for covers and when she's featured in songs Katy perry at least co-writes everything she sings and does write the music and lyrics for her songs. On the One of the Boys album she wrote music and lyrics for 3 songs (thinking of you, mannequin and one of the Boys) and cowrote the other 9."
do your research first you fuck tard.
And for the record lady gaga writes less music than the likes of perry and kesha. Kesha was a song writer before a pop star.
Dude, I won't insult you because this is garbage like pop artists we're talking about. Consider yourself so lucky, ha!
Unfortunately, I work for Warner here in New York. Worse than that, I work in the pop music department. At times I've had to deal specifically with these poppy garbage acts like Ashley Tisdale and The Veronicas in person. So I know how this industry works.
Anyway, one of the first things I learned was that hardly ANY of these pop acts write any of their music, and most pay off producers and writers either completely, or give them some credit and so the artist gets co-written credits. Amongst A&R and execs here, the name that comes up always as the biggest offender is Katy Perry. In fact, it's not even a little secret, it's common knowledge amongst that Perry's music is entirely written by the producers she works with, and at times writers hired by Capitol.
This is why Katy Perry is the worst in the business. She doesn't do anything but record vocals.
You work at a nyc building, yet post from Aussie....that's a lot of flying

Little bitch, fuck off back to Jersey. No one in NY considers Jersey apart of NY anyway.
And I didn't know North South Wales was considered NYC

Dude be proud of your home, Aussie is a nice place
