Those type of gay people are obviously messed up in the head from a traumatic childhood so they feel the need to be egomaniacs basically..
Pretty sad.

Because it pisses people off

After all the suffering and bullshit gay people had to deal with, they have a right to piss people off.

I have a gay friend, his voice is high and he is a huge Nicki manji fan, big ol walking stereotype. Yet he is a cooler person then most straightfags I know

I have gay friends. Don't have a problem with the concept, you like what you like, whatever. You would never know these people were gay unless they told you though. But why do some gays / lesbians have to make it extremely obvious and act completely different? It irritates me to no end when I know other people who are the same that are 100% "normal", for lack of a better word. And I'm not talking about feminine men / masculine women.

Do you get what I mean? Explain this to me.

Probably the same reason why there are [insert minority here] pride movements. Minority's tend to express it a lot more simply because they are minority's who have to go up against the majority. There is also a psychological factor; whenever people's opinions/beliefs/feelings on a certain subject gets attacked, confronted or debated they tend to feel even more strongly about that certain subject. Some gay people hear how they are unnatural all day long, which will make them react by acting like that. Push a person into a certain stereotype enough and sooner or later he will start acting like it.

First off don't start with "I have gay friends", it's sorta like when people chastize black people (or any other minorities for that matter) and say "I'm not racist I have Black friends".

Anyways to reiterate what Slimm is saying sorta, it's kinda like minorities who may be a bit overbearing and tend to be vocal about themselves, in that they tend to create a sense of unity by saying "Don't get lost in the crowd". The majority (white people!) may find them overbearing or annoying, but why must you create a sense of unity in an already existing hegemony. It'd be redundancy squared, mind you I don't condone collectivism of any kind and feel nationalism in general is stupid. But I'm not going to ignore societal context because I don't agree with said actions.

Sorry to get lost in the analogy and almost divert the attention away, but in laymen's terms it may be sort off a reaction to being told that they are "worthless, evil, etc." so they react to it by said actions.

I think he included "I have gay friends" as an explanation behind where this query is coming from, rather than an attempt to justify it.

Well than I apologize if I took it out of context, it just irks me when someone chastises X group, but tries to justify their actions by saying "I have X amount of friends". As if the group are aspergian plebians that can't make friends on their own and need to be referred to by their group.
