This is tough. Gut choice says Batman. Superman is so fucking strong, but his one weakness is a pretty facking big weakness and it basically renders him useless. Bruce Wayne is such a resourceful person, I'm sure he'd get a hold of the kryptonite before Superman could land a punch.

Being a comic book nerd, I can tell you that even the weakest version of Superman would evaporate Batman. Also, the stronger versions of Superman can not only punch through fucking time, but also sneeze out solar systems. And the strongest version of Supes can create universes and wipe them out.

Kryptonite? Not a problem. Superman detects that Bats has it immediately after the fight starts. Before Batman even has a chance to do anything more than do his emo grimace thing, Superman fucking lobotomizes Batman with his heat vision and turns him into a drooling mess. Game, set, match.

Furthermore, Batman doesn't have enough access to kryptonite to make that much equipment besides a ring and maybe a bullet (which would be vaporized by Supes in mid-air anyways).

There's also the option of flying into space and throwing asteroids at Batman. The only reason why Batman somehow got the upper hand on Superman in Dark Knight Returns was because he hit him with a fucking NUKE, then 5 heat seeking missiles, the combined electricity from the entire Gotham City power grid, an alien cannon, sonics, acid (for distraction) and an exploding kryptonite arrow. Batman STILL lost. And Superman was going EASY.

In conclusion, Batman gets powderized. He even admits himself that he has no way of stopping Superman in a fight with any form of fairness.

Batman is an infinitely better character. Superman is one of the worst comic book characters ever written. There's a reason why writers have to constantly find ways to make him interesting, because he's not. Nonetheless, this isn't a fair match in any way. Even Goku gets his anus ripped apart by Superman.
