"Purty" i tried but they told u i am wrong. I dunno what else to think.

It might be

Y = A * X^2 + B

But i can hardly remember.

Parabole.

The straight line equation is Y = X

The parabole that passes from (0.0) coordinate is Y = A * X

This parabole should be Y = (A * X) + B or sumthin.

Look.

Y is the vertical coordinate.

Y = X means that the Y variable is equal to the X variable. Which means that if u have X = 3 then Y = 3. And that's the straight line.

The curve now is different. To achieve curve u gotta multiply the X with another variable.

So when X = 3 and A = 2, then Y = 6.

U divided by X?

If Y = X * Sumthin else
Then X = Y / Sumthin else

the line's equation is X = A * Xsquared + B * X + G ....no wait, that's the type for 2nd Rank equations.

Oh yeah i forgot to tell u.

A is definately a negative number (which means below zero) possibly -2 or -3 i aint sitting here to check.

Since the parabole has a maximum point the A is a negative number. If the parabole had a minimum point on the Y coordinate axis then A would certainly be positive number.
