Computer Question

my laptop has two hard drives and one is full and now my computer is gettin pissed at me cos its full cos i dont know what to do ive tried movin stuff to the other hard drive (one called normal C\ drive or whatever and the other is called D\data if that helps) but yeh im a bit confused. like what if i wanted to save something to D\data but wanted it saved on my desktop is it possible?

did you try selecting the files, right-clicking and going to send to: D:\?

it dont give me the option to it only has: compressed, dvd drive, documents, desktop, email recipient

try goin to the left and click copy selected files

Copy some stuff off of C: onto a DVD...then copy it off the DVD onto the D: drive

dat sounds like dat would work but it cant seriously be the only way to switch data about there must be an easier way of doin it (plus i havent got no dvds only cds and thyre too small!)

Why not just drag and drop from one drive to another?

maybe im being a bit to obvious here so ignore me if i am, but cant you just hook up your other hard drive the drag n drop ? then delete the stuff form the hardrive it was orignaly on

if youve tried that (ill guess you already have lol) then its most likely that the external hardrive is needing formated

i have a laptop like that to.. The regular drive is for your needs the data is like 5 gigz on somehtin for very important comp information and shit.. or thats what i think
