i was working on myspanishlab, an online thing for my spanish course. and a question popped up... "escuchas a Eminem?"

i was like

Talk about him being huge.. he's everywhere. i mentioned before a Health teacher mentioned him in a Sex-Ed speech!!! XD

Yeah, in our english book from last year, he was mentioned, and his 2nd verse from Drug Ballad was written on it.
And the year before that, it was the talks about guns and stuff in the english book, and they had included this line "They say music can alter moods and talk to you, well can it load a gun for you and cock it too?", and the reason why it was included was that it was about people claiming that rap influenced people to start with crimes ans shoot people.
But the book, right before that Em quote said something, which they then referred to Eminem.


So yeah, he is pretty much in our books lol

My English teacher who's the sort of teacher really into her Shakespeare and Victorian poetry has mentioned Eminem more than once. We had to look up on the Northern Irish famous poet, Seamus Heaney and him being one of the best poets of this age said Eminem "has sent a voltage around a generation. He has done this not just through his subversive attitude but also his verbal energy."
