because if i can stop for two weeks then it means i'm still in control and i'm not addicted and i dont see a reason to quit unless it has become an addiction..

So then instead of using money for weed you can use it for studio time

I don't see why anyone has any trouble at all quitting cannabis.

The main reason people don't stop is because they simply don't see a good reason to. It's not an unhealthy habit (speaking relatively) and it's effects are fairly controllable. Not to sound like a dick, but I highly doubt you'll need any "help" unless you're just really weak-minded.

I mean...there aren't even any strong withdrawal symptoms for most anyone, and even when it is an addiction, it's mental and not physical. Not like opiate addiction, that can lay you up in bed puking and aching all over your body. Or in extreme cases, like with heroin, where you can actually die from the withdrawal symptoms.

Anyway, pretty much all of this wasn't directed at you, I'd just like to say that if you can't stop, then you'll have problems with being addicted to relatively harmless, non-addictive things your entire life. BUT, if that's the case, then kudos to you for actively trying to determine that, so you can alter your thought-patterns and improve your life.

Sorry Tash, I go off on rants sometimes when it comes to weed. Just don't like seeing it get a bad wrap, so anytime that addiction is brought up, I just start rambling. Nothing personal.

I think you'll do just fine. Unless you're a punkass, in which case you might as well start doing smack right now. :)

Actually no, not rly, as long as you know is just a break of 2-3-5 weeks it's easy. Ask someone to set an unknown period of time, then you have a real test.

Just when I thought you couldn't say anything to make me think less of your opinion...

Jesus Christ. Go to a D.A.R.E. convention or some shit. :shakehead:
