The art of grafting is a commonly attempted, yet rarely mastered skill. Gone are the days of courting; today it has been replaced by the cultural phenomenon that is grafting. Though there is much controversy surrounding the origins of the word 'grafting', etymology reveals that it in fact derives from the transitive verb 'to graft'. Many claim to be responsible for bringing the word Grafting into circulation (namely Harry Canty-Davis) however its roots as of today are unknown.

The widespread increase of technology in today's world is an exciting prospect for grafters worldwide; with humble beginnings predominantly on Msn Messenger (with hours on end being spent on getting girls to whack em out) - the maturation of grafting has led to the birth of the text-based graft and the facebook chat graft.

Grafting is the perfect way to occupy one's self during typically mundane tasks, I'm sure many of us grafters have fond memories of grafting during lessons, car journeys and in Kye Hobbs' case - social events.

This hobby unites gentlemen of all races, IQs and backgrounds in a collective goal of getting some wood. Amateur, pro', or just plain interested; use this group to share your love of grafting, exchange approach plays and above all engage in a bit of banter.
