if em wants to be recognized as the best still, then 2010 needs to be full of eminem. I know he doesnt have to prove that hes the best, but he needs to start coming out with features, mixtapes, songs or whatever to show whos top dog. Lil waynes been putting music out like crazy, making a rock album to finishing up 20 songs for Carter 4 this summer already. T.I.'s going at work too. Em's always remained exciting to people because him and Paul are smart as fuck and know the key is making people want more of you. Not sick of you.

And people started to get sick of Wayne straight away and are even more so now. Because he's just jumping on everything and anything. Spreading himself thin.

It makes you worth less artistically and makes you much less interesting. If you're on every mixtape and 'hot' album coming out, then a new verse or feature from you is bland. It's constant and unexciting. It becomes less of an event, people are used to it.

But when Em rarely collabs and then odd little ones here and there... BoB recently for example. People are intrigued.

Em is doing it totally right and that's why after 12 years, people are still foaming at the mouth for even a snippet. And if Relapse 2 is as good as it's supposed to be... He's got 2010 with that alone. Then, some banging reviews, a few wins, few acceptances, D12 album. Bang.

Giving people yourself in drips n drabs is the key to keeping the mystery and excitement. And momentum. I saw Em speak eloquently on this in 2002 as well. Knows exactly what he's doing.
