That song hyped up the album so much, if it would have been made properly and released correctly it would have done the album good. Plus we made you wouldnt have been on and would have made room for buffalo bill

Plus, em shouldnt be writing dre's raps. Im under the impression em wrote his verse on that song since he spit his verse on the original leak. It didnt sound like dre should have been spittin that, but that might have just been because i heard em spit it first.

Em actually writes all of Dre's raps when they appear together lol, didn't you know that?

He wrote all of "Forgot About Dre". So it's very bizarre that Dre gets credit as a rapper, he writes nothing himself and never has.

No actually a Jimmy Iovine intern discovered Em if you wanna get technical. And Jimmy Iovine took him to Dre. Dre just gets the credit because he's the big name and his stamp was a big help.

Dre has only produced a handful of tracks of Em's career in comparison to what Em himself has done himself and with the Bass Bros too.

Bass Bros and Em himself did most production on The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP and Em did basically all of The Eminem Show and half of Encore. Then Dre of course did Relapse.

Em is also equally responsible for making Dre blow-up again and making him continue to seem relevant. Dre owes Em just as much as Em owes him now. All Dre did was give him credit and then Em writes for the man and makes him relevant again. Too much credit for Dre.

I wasn't very into Relapse at first. Because I think I had set my expectations to thinking that it was really going to be the original Shady.

But once I let that thought go, and just took it for what it was -- I really came to find how incredible many of the tracks really are. Especially from simply a lyrical point of view. He has never had a better take on his use of words. Ever. Period.

But Underground is what did it... That track, in my opinion, is revolutionary. Just how much his style changes and how hard he comes... My heart jolts inside every time he starts spitting a verse on that track. And when he does it live; it's unreal.

I played it alot from when it leaked until it was released and I thought it was great, but the replay value is shit for me, I haven't listened to the album since the week it was released

Its better than Encore but it doesn't hold a candle to his albums before that
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

to me Relapse is musically weak, shit content in most of the songs, more stale predictable Dre's beats, and of course the absolutely HORRIBLE accent :'(

well some people said the lyricism in this is beyond amazing which is partly true but honestly throwing amazing lyricism into shit content is a waste

hightlight of the album is Deja Vu for me.
