he tried to fit too many names in one song that take away the attention from the real 'plot', it doesn't work like in ssad when he just name drop about 3 people to tell the story.
yes the whole WMY video is a mess but it has some funny scences imo, but the video is a mess because the song itself is a mess, the video follows EXACTLY the lyric.

at least my name is is actually funny and catchy. And don't get so technical when it comes to music like that, he was slightly off beat in If I got locked up tonight too and it was great.

He has to, to make it different from SS&D. Otherwise it'd be the exactly the same song just with a different hook and beat. Everyone loves RRSS and he uses hundreds of names. WMY does the same just murders them all in the ends.

This is a silly argument becuase it's based on opinion. I prefer We Made You's accent, hook and beat to Same Song & Dance's and I prefer listening to WMY to My Name Is. You prefer the opposite.

I actually like We Made You...I agree though that it's one of the worst songs on Relapse, but as a pop song, I think it's not that bad. I used to not like it, but it grew on me. And Same Song & Dance is definitely better in my opinion, haunting beat over Em's story-telling lyrics. I think SS&D is a classic, one of my favorites on Relapse. I've listened to We Made You more times than My Name Is, partly because I think Relapse is a better album as a whole than The Slim Shady LP. Don't bash me for saying that, but I just like Relapse better, I don't know why. I don't like his voice on SSLP is one reason, I know that, but there's something appealing about Relapse, to me any way. I'm starting to like SSLP these days, though, but if I had to choose I like Relapse better

And everyone needs to quit bitching about this "accent". He uses so many different voices on Relapse, that there's not just one "accent", there's several. I'm one of the few who actually does not have a big problem with the accent. Sure, I prefer his normal voice any day, but really, Relapse was a concept album, and the use of so many voices and "accents" reflects the schizophrenic nature of the album. It's so crazy, in order to reflect that, Em needed to change his voice, like he pretty much does on every album. And plus, you can actually tell that he's having a lot of fun on Relapse, which is important because it will mean he'll make more music

Those of you bitching about this "accent" don't need to worry too much longer though. I'm about 90% sure Relapse 2 won't have it at all, and if it does I think it'll be only on like 2-3 songs about killing. So relax. People need to learn to take into account of what Relapse really is, it's actually a very painful and honest record, with fantasies of killing people that reflect the pain. He attacks himself so much throughout the album, you can't help but respect him for making it

I actually dnt think WMY sucks, its not that good but the beat is hot & I like the chorus..His lyrics are weak yes, but the 1st verse nd beginning of 2nd are kinda dope but the rest is garbage...I think its easily better than Just Lose It atleast
