Ahh I see now. I suppose I shoulda put an "I think" before "anybody who...."

But I think Im right at any rate. People who like Hip Hop or Rap in general will not care for this song much. They def. wouldnt be rating it 4 or 5 outta 5. I mean the lyrics are alright...But it isnt all about the lyrics. If it was, Just Blaze, Dre, and all the other producers in the world would be broke

I think the fact that it's polarised the fans so much prevents it from being a classic. Did any of his dedicated fans hate Lose Yourself or Stan or any of his other classics?

I hate Stan, so yes.

Using and italicising the word "any" was a bad choice. I meant "a considerable percentage".

I thought Stan was overrated. And now I think its his most overrated song, with Beautiful coming in as a close second.

Real close second.

4, and thats as far as i'll go.

though i like it, it hasnt earned that right to be called a classic. its too early,
just as how nobody said illmatic was a classic right as it dropped, this track should be no different

Amadeo wrote:how is the "fuck the earth" line a triple meaning?

Meaning 1: Fuck (non sexual) the Earth
Meaning 2: Fuck (sexual) the Earth
Meaning 3: Fuck (as in "own"/dominate) the Earh

That's my interpretation.

Amadeo wrote:meaning 1: fuck the earth, a rebellious phrase that basically means "go to hell."

eg: "Sold a billion tapes and still scream 'Fuck the world!'"

meaning 2: literally fuck (have sex with) the earth.

there are no other meanings as far as i can tell.

"Fuck" as in "I'm gonna butt fuck the rap game".
It means take over, run, rule, etc.
It generally denotes making an impact.
It seems to apply in Em's line.

Edit: Okay

i wouldn't look too much into "fuck the world" line

"forget the earth"
"pull his dick from the dirt and fuck the whole universe"

thats where the goatness is at lyrically
