Honestly, I really dont like the beat to Not Afraid, lyrics are some of the best he's spit since the comeback but the beat was real boring, not a Boi1da fan........And Jim Jonsin could be hit or miss

But the rest, Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, DJ Khalil, Mr Porter and Havoc??........I cant see a problem there, all them dudes are great at what they do, and the 2 snippets I heard so far, Talkin to myself and 25 to life, sounded great

goofy beats are mostly all Dre beats

so Recovery will be different

but i think Recovery will be too hip hop for you, judging by your posts..so i doubt you will like it as much as many other on TR. And don't come back with "rihanna and pink aren't hip hop" nonsense. Just look at Just Blaze, Havoc, Mr. Porter, Khalil, even Jim Jonsin saying he did something he's never done before ---> that should pretty much tell you everything you need to know about this album.

I think it probably will yeah.

I don't like the "Not Afraid" beat but Em improved it with the piano addition. I love pianos and melodies and Em always makes better beats than guys like that to me, they're always... Melodic. I mean think of any beat off TES, it pops in your head instantly. They're REAL tunes / songs and not just drums smashing all over the place. They sound like 'classic' themes which never get old, which are instantly enjoyable. I don't get that vibe from a lot of hip-hop producers.

Havoc one should be interesting though. He's definitely a great producer too, I wish Em would have worked with Premo for this album though. Hope there's no Dre beats on it and at least one Em production. Seems as if he helped with a lot of it anyway though like a true collaboration process. As Blaze said he was very hands on as did Jim Jonsin. Should be interesting.

I think this might be Em's best produced album to date, if Dre is on it I hope he comes through with some beats like "Underground"

My only worries are Jim Jonsin and Boi 1Da (if he has more beats on the album)
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

I hated the Not Afraid beat. If that Talkin' to Myself snippet is real, then I'm not really looking forward to that song either. He could be spitting the best verses in the world, but if it's over some lame, cheesy r&b shit, then it's gonna ruin it for me.

Dre, Havoc and Blaze keepin' it real though!

and imprison all citizens, empower with rhythm
